Under $5 rubbers

So I don't really care about the scale too much. I just slap the rubber on my FH or BH, and let my hand tells me if I like the rubber or not.

My MO is the same and it also relates to the ongoing senseless discussions about "throw angles "etc. one simply adjusts to this.

Agree. All the topsheet has difference softness (even if the sponge is on the same ESN scale of hardness) and the symmetry of the pips are laid out differently. Too much noise. Just trust your own hand to see if you like the rubber or not.

And of course Barracuda, C-1, Rakza 7 soft, Rozena, Acuda S2, etc. are all different but they are close enough that I can adjust easily from one session to the next....so I can wear those rubbers down

I got these ultra cheap rubbers to play around with. Im not expecting much at all, but at the very least I thought they would be fun to boost up and see if they can react strongly.

Dude, I'm telling you now that Kokutaku blue sponge rubber is Insane! Ive had it on a cheap 5 ply blade for about 2 years and truly that rubber is a hidden treasure

Well at least the sheet I bought 2 years ago was amazing. Unexpectedly great bounce, mild tackiness, beautiful hard sponge(around 41 degrees). Spin and power generation you can achieve is pretty great as well. Very similar to National Target, not H3.
