i would go with others and really question what kind of coach you having that doesn‘t know the basic difference of offensive play?
viscaria and hl5 are so completely different that you would only switch if you really want to change your entire game, as the others already pointed out. seams like your coach has no clue what playing style you have and just want to put you any racket in your hand, but that really doesn’t match with your rating. there you would have a complete playstyle already and really rarely change so dramatic, only when the coach thinks it is worth, but then it would be a really thoughtful process.
i think your coach just want to squeeze some money out of you, better stay with your equipment and concentrate on tactics (maybe change coach too)

No, I love my coach. He’s amazing. He’s only asking me because he wants to see how I feel about them. He used to use Viscaria and now uses the W968.

Get the one your coach can get. It's oddly specific that it's a Xiang Peng edition, but why not.
I'm not sure I wanna see his face on the bottom of my handle tho, maybe a Chen Xingtong or Shin Yubin edition for me 😏

The Xiang Peng face plate isn't for you but your opponent to look at.

Any time you want to intimidate your opponent just flash them the butt of your racket handle and they'll get to see Xiang Peng's Chinese movie villain features and permanent angry scowl.

I train in China pretty often and is only here for school. I’m able to train in ZhenDing National Training Center in China so I’m not bad(at least not a bad amateu). So, 2300 is my estimated rating. Also I’m kind of a EJ.
So here's my honest advice if your 2300 estimate is accurate. Very very few people that actively post on this forum are even anywhere close to that level of play and therefore will not truly understand the equipment demands and causes/effects of certain choices that are applicable for that level of play. And for the few that exist you probably won't know who they are. Would you take equipment advice from a 1300 player at your club? Because if not, there's a good chance that's what you're doing when you make threads like this. Also, without posting video, even advanced players have no clue how you play and therefore can't give useful advice.

TLDR - stick to your coach or training mates who know your game better and know what playing at that level is like. Or post video of your play so people can make an actual recommendation based on how you play.

Sounds like he's already gone. You should have just typed your last message as your first message. You pissed him off
Interesting to point fingers at me when he posted 3 more comments after mine and was online 30 minutes ago. The EJing disease doesn't die in one thread, if he reads my comment he can at least be a more educated EJ and get insights from people his level. It's good advice even if you don't like it.

Doesn't matter to me if he does or doesn't. If he does, it's valuable advice. If he doesn't, he can continue to get misguided advice from people who don't comprehend his level or have a single clue how he plays.

Zhengding is open to anybody who pays btw.

Get a good viscaria. I'm kinda tired of about the model number of W968. Every w968 has a little bit different of feelings. Gold vis doesn’t worth more money and it has the problem with the number model also.

My way to go is just come to the racket stock in the province (big boss for selling blades), then choose from more than hundred blade to get the best one comfortable to you (weight, thickness, pattern of wood, handle, etc.). My friend used to be a player of a college team (a league lower a bit than CSL) in China so he has the connections to take me to choose my current blade from hundred of viscaria in that stock area.
You can be wrong or right about 2300, lots of ppl i saw at that level got a subpar, weird technique, footwork compare to well-trained ppl. But maybe their feelings and their tactic is good so they can reach up there (I saw a 2500 old gigs before and he doesn’t even move properly or fast enough and it’s irritating to watch).
But as I know any B+ level player from my country would definitely smoke the ~2300 if they come to the US (B->A->Pros), I’m just saying in my perspective and there actually were multiple cases like that happened already. I believe the level where you see ppl that actually play serious in the US is around 2550 and above.

Please help me on this.
DHS Hurricane King ACB vs Viscaria ?
Any thoughts ?
There are two types of blades: long-stroke and short-stroke. The first type includes flexible all-wood blades and blades with internal carbon reinforcement - under two layers of veneer, for example Long 5. The second type includes rigid all-wood blades and blades with carbon reinforcement on the surface - under the top veneer, for example Viscaria and its clones.
If you like to play with longer movements, a long-stroke blade should suit you better. If you prefer short movements - then a short-stroke one. By the way, this pattern is clearly visible in professional players, for example short strokes - Timo Boll, Fan Zhendong, Zhang Jike use short-stroke blades, long strokes - Ma Long, Dima Ovcharov, Patrick Franziska use long-stroke blades.
Also look at yourself from the outside at your height, the length of your arms and legs, as well as your playing style, and try to find a professional player similar to you in size and playing style and look at his inventory. Just be sure to make an adjustment for your level of blade speed.
