WE CHALLENGED AFRICAN CHAMP QUADRI ARUNA!

In this video we’re kicking off a brand new TTD Team Challenge series! The rules are simple, we all take on a Pro in one set showdown and whoever gets the least points will face a forfeit.

For this first video in the series we flew out to India to take on world no 20 Quadri Aruna in the showcourt at Ultimate Table Tennis! Founder, Frog and Beast will play one set against Quadri the player with the least points in their set will face a forfeit!

bahaha i love the trash talking. Poor beast getting called a hobby player at the end. Incredible that Quadri seemed to be playing with a relatively low effort for all of the matches and there was never really a true through. Really goes to show that Quadri is much closer in skill to Ma Long than the hobby player is in closeness to Quadri.

Years ago, I got to watch Timo Boll play vs several 2500-2690 rated TT players from USA. The guys Timo was playing, I knew them and knew their ratings. He really did not have to try. The 2600+ players were effing good players but, the level that the top guys play at is really astounding.

I learned that at the WTT event in Frankfurt last year. I couldn't believe the speed of it when seeing it up close. It is quite remarkable how fast the actions and reactions are and I really missed the replays where you get to see many shots again! I ended up watching half the matches again in TV when I got home 🤣

Also amazing how different seeing things in person is from seeing them on a screen. Getting to see the match in person and then getting to watch the video, you get a better perspective on how different it is.

came back and said, every single ball, the ball skid onto him unlike any other player ever.
CCY faced the mighty trio of Ma Lin, Wang Hao, Wang Liqin, then other champs like ZJK, Ma Long etc. European and Asian top players, but no FH ball skids into CCY upper body away from the table like Quadri

Several people told me similar about the Quadri FH having the best shot quality in the world. Calderano and Jorgic were mentioned as well.
