Please can someone explain the playing characteristic differences between Rasanter R48 and C48?

I'm trying to decide between the two on which to buy and I'm not sure!

How is the R53 and C53 in comparison to the 48s?

Thanks!

The C range are all slightly tacky hybrids, R range are all more traditional grippy european rubbers. I think R48 is one of the better med-hard grippy ESN rubbers, high spin, good speed and catapult, medium-high arc, decent durability. C48 is slightly slower, more spin sensitive, but much better on brushy shots and really good in the short game. These are all typical trade-offs with more recent ESN hybrids, but important to say that C isn't as tacky as slightly older hybrids like rakza z, hybrid k1 etc.

The 53 degree versions are just harder sponged. YMMV based on what you look for in a rubber, but personally I find R53 a bit too hard in terms of getting the catapult working for me, but C53 is amazing on my FH (because I love a hard-sponged hybrid on that side). Very personal thing. R45 is also worth noting - very good BH rubber for me.

Thanks Andy! Are you able to tell me more about the C53 please? I've been using dignics 09c on my forehand so how would the C53 compare?
