Top annoyances I've personally had:
Misaligned rubber that was already cut
Having different headsize blades

Another one I've seen: when your glue suddenly goes bad for no reason.

1. glue clotting when spread (mostly happens when i try to use opened glue thats already been sitting on my desk for months)

2. properly lining up cut rubbers to the blade

3. having to switch blades to a sharper one everytime i need to cut a new rubber to ensure a neater cut
Very relatable annoyances!

For #2, I've found that using my pinkie fingers to help align gives me more consistency. Also, having a light pointing at the handle really helps when aligning the rubber to it (because shadows play havoc on depth perception)

For #3, multi-purpose oil works great for me, with the non-snap off blades since I have to replace the whole blade at once.
