What place to store the rackets and spare rubbers in Summer?

Where would you store the rackets and rubbers when it gets hotter in mid year? In the basement in waterproof boxes where it's cool and a bit damp? Or in the apartment in a closet where it can get very warm in the summer. In spring, autumn and winter I have no problems with it, only in summer I wonder what is better.

I think moisture and oxidation are probably a bigger problems than a bit of warmth. So store it in the dryest possible place. I have plastic covering all my rubber (topsheet at least) and I put them in a box with some of those moisture absorbing dessicant packets.
