Niwa was originally in my top ten. Along with Boll, Wang Liqin, Persson... so many players that make TT a beautiful sport. And Wang Yang, just for this rally alone
There are so many players that deserve a spot in the top 10, but there aren't enough spots😂

with few others, with 2 going to play for Taiwan and the others USA
I'm not sure if that is defect away or fired. Two different things

I would add Guo Yue, a pity she fell out of favor

My mixed mens and womens
1) Deng Yaping, best player of all time, and got too bored wining, she went to get a phd in table tennis
2) Ma Long
3) Ma Lin
4) Wang Hao
5) Joo Sae Hyuk
6) Wang Nan
7) Kong Linghui
8) Timo Boll
9) JO Waldner
10) Chuang Chih Yuan

No particular order, and doubtless if you ask tomorrow you get a different answer!

JO Waldner- so good I bought a blade with his name on, it didn’t make me play like him

Deng Yaping - so good, I always liked playing with combination bats so I bought the same backhand rubber as her, I wasn’t able to use it quite the same though…

Ma Long - what a forehand, by this point had learnt … so had a hit with a friends HL5, didn’t give me magical forehand so saved my money 🤣

Zoran Primorac - loads of people have his name on their blade, they don’t play like him though!

Mima Ito - so aggressive

Adriana Diaz - just because of that backhand punch

Xu xin - are we entertained yet?

Jorgen Persson - what a backhand

Felix Lebrun - European Penholder I like it

Carl Prean - was uk number one at the time I was getting into tt and being coached. Coach said he needed to get lower and that his technical issues would stop him from progressing, “do not copy him George”, but speed glued long pimples….whats not to like?

Bonus One
Dragutin Surbek- Never actually seen him play but I know when I was a kid he was my coaches favourite.
