I couldn't find where to put him 🥀💔, but what is certain is that he would be in the bottom 5. The top 5 has footwork, forehand, and backhand he cannot compete with.

Above Boll.

Waldner is a former olympic gold medalist & individual world champion, something that Boll never achieved.

He won a world championship without losing a set. Technical more proficient than any player of his generation. He and his team mates actually ruled over China for a while - that must count and was and still is recognized by the Chinese. That he lost games past 2000 was no surprise. He simply did not have the physique in his later years with a deteriorating back. Still his game even at the end of his career when all worked was stunning.

For sure then, tbh Timo just got cooked left and right. I put him at 10th because of the superior looking plays he has over waldner. (YES I KNOW THE SERVES, AND I KNOW THE BLOCKS, but Timo's spin shots just look sick)

1-JP Gatien, the most acoomplished footwork in TT history: winning almost a grand slam with no backhand. The best lefty in TT history.

2- JO Waldner, he invented almost everything in the modern TT, the backhand flip excluded.

3- Zhendong Fan, for his smile, his fighting spirit, his nice soul, the kind of guy you meet in a bar and you instantly become a friend with !

3- Ilija Lupulesku, the most elegant lefty I've ever seen, too bad the Yugoslavia civil wars seperated Zoki and Ilija, they were an awesome pair in doubles matches. This guy had... too many ease with his wrist and mid distance defense, never twice the same ball coming back to you, to me the lefty version of Waldner.

4- Jean-Mi Saive, the most physical guy ever in TT, and a true belgian: joking about the french while having a beer at your TT club house

5- Timo Boll: fair play, fair play, fair play, what else but loving the man

6- Simon Gauzy, specially when he faces

7- Liang Jingkun, if those 2 make exhibition events when they retire I'll buy tickets whatsoever. LJK is also a nice guy, always fair play, respecting the game, no serve cheating.

8- Xu Xin, the most creative chinese player of all times, not one of those robots like Ma Long, Lin Shidong, Wang Chuqin

9- Hugo Calderano, man he's special...

10- Xu Yingbin, a kind guy, always smiling and giving autographs to people, I've seen him play for La Romagne it's just 15 km from my house.

The ones I hate the most: LSD and WCQ for their arrogance, lack of fair play, their diva behavior (specially WCQ and his racket dramas) and blatant cheatery on serves.

I'm curious about why you think LSD is arrogant. Maybe there's something I'm missing. Regarding WCQ, I agree with you. I think he's cheating with his serves. But what I hate most are the WCQ fans. They scream during every match and never shut up! I don't have anything against him, but I hope he loses ASAP so I don't have to listen to his fans anymore.

My glorious ryu 🥀🥀🥀

Ryu Seung-Min is a legend. I think that he had the best footwork of TT history, and watching his games is amazing...but only I could select 10.
Unfortunate, really.

"I think" is an understatement. As he was a Jpen, he had to use footwork to cover the backhand.

Watch his 2004 olympic run. Best run in history!
