when I want to play offense, I play with this 1nd bet (Gergely). But sometime I want to play defense with this Matsuhita blade. But for serious, playing with this different bet will cause I can't consentrate while playing.

Is everybody can give me any suggestion or critics about what I had done?
(Sorry if my English bad)

William

The best solution if you just choose one playing style, either offensive or defensive. Both of these styles requires different footwork all together. Or another solution, which is a bit more difficult is play as an all rounder. But for this, you need proper equipment.

To reach the highest potential in oneself, one must take a SINGLE style to dedicate their life into.
Both offense and defense are two very contrast discipline with much difference in complex muscle usage.
The other option is being an allrounder as Sir Azlan said.

Are you the same William who post about the same question a few months ago?

I would suggest an all around set up for equipment, but there's nothing wrong with learning the different techniques out there. Ma Long's Chops are just as strong as Joo's, but his Loops are what's so killer. There will always be times when you'll have to vary how you hit the ball just to get back into the point. Most inverted rubbers will still be able to chop from mid distance and most Chinese Rubbers should be able to chop from just about anywhere from close to mid distance.
