As you can see in the below screenshot of the latest butterfly folder 41 of 53 blades are only available with a flared handle, not?

(Edit: this image is indeed a bit small; I don't know how to make it bigger, but if you check out the latest Butterfly folder, you'll see my point)

Butterfly makes majority of blades in 3 handles, FL, AN, ST, some Cpen.
It is the decisions of the importors/distributors on what models to bring in.

There is only 2 officials Butterfly sites namely, Butterfly Europe - in Germany and Butterfly Japan.
The American - Butterfly Online is a Butterfly distributor and not Butterfly themselves.
But do note that certain models are only made for certain regions, and other than that, what gets imports (handles types, certain blades, certain sponge thinkness) is not Butterfly's say, but rather the middle man.

Why Butterfly is hated by so many consumers?
Because if say Butterfly Online (For NA) only brought in FL handles, you as the consumer are not allowed to order from other regions and forced to order from your own region (consumer rights gone out the window).
And if your region's store still can't help you, then what can you do?
Easy:
1) get on an airplane and buy from the region that sales it
2) ask some one in that region to order for you and then post it to you

I understand it is impossible to stock everything, but surely order on request options for customs should be possible, and i'm afraid that is not the case for Butterfly online
btw, I see you (OP) is in Europe, why you looking at NA region? You not going to be able to order from there
Butterfly Europe has more options for you

I just discovered another anoying thing...if you go to the belgian Butterfly site (http://be.butterfly.tt/) or the german Butterfly site (http://de.butterfly.tt/) you can buy different products

@Tony's Table Tennis: I thought I found the latest catalog from Butterfly; it contained a convenient table so I could compare blades. Apparantly it's not that easy to get correct information.
