So Tamara speaks English with Sabine, but she speaks German with Ying Han...
I'll assume Sabine's English is better than Tami's German, but YH's English isn't very good...

Anyhow, Felix has far surpassed Dang and going forward, the rift between them is only going to widen.
Han Ying translated English for Shan Xiaona once and regularly posts in English on her socials

Is Tamara the coach, German? Why does she speak English with Winfer? Who isn’t German here? lol Im confused.

The backstory of Tamara Boros, former WR2 and a European player that posed substantial threat to the CNT in the early 2000s, is a little complicated. See her documentary in the MyTT link below.

Is Tamara the coach, German?
She's ethnic Hungarian from Senta (Vojvodina, Serbia). Moved to Croatia as a teenager and took citizenship. At one point she was considered the best non-Asian player in the world. Former world #2, four-time Olympian.

Her high-toss serve is iconic.

This game is an absolute rollercoaster.
Han goes 5-1 up in the 1st before winning.
Manyu goes 5-1 in the 2nd before extending to 9&1 and winning.
Then Han 5-1 up in the 3rd
Possibly the makings of a classic here

WS QF
WMY (1) 3-4 HY (-6, 4, -7, 10, -4, 8, -6)
Looks like her arm and lower back are a factor.

Like Hashimoto said in a recent interview, choppers become stronger the older they get. Shan Xiaona, who suffered a first round exit/R64, said she was never the choice for Paris 2024 if Han Ying didn't injure herself and couldn't recover in time. Winter was also recovering from an injury at that point. How long can Winter step-around like that 3 years from now?

As long as SYS and WMY are problem-free, they are untouchable. For the time being, Hashimoto's best course of action is to keep herself afloat by staying as close to top 10 (seeding position) for as long as possible to avoid running into her teammates, who would eat her for breakfast.

WMY 2-1 Ito
Given that upper arm, WMY's prospect for LA28 is still uncertain.

To prepare KM for LA28. WYD and CXT won't be there.

No, I mean 3 events. The critical factor will be Harimoto. It's difficult for SYS and WMY to hang around until Brisbane 2032, when KM will be 28 and Harimoto 24. KM will need the Olympic singles experience if no one else comes through and it's very clear the CNT is honing KM to handle 3 events. Couple that with my prediction that ZYL's style could make a comeback.
