I screenshotted this to put all the Harimoto criticism into perspective...

UBTY has such a dominant market share that it doesn’t need to hide the fact that some of its players don’t actually use their namesake blades. Lin Shidong's blade is listed as a custom model rather than promoted as a Viscaria, such a chad move.
Some wild conjecture of yours , sorry. There is no actual woodcraft that enables a player to disunite factory made handle into halves. Some hefty sledgehammer maybe.

wow! that was exciting. I thought Gauzy was just doing Gauzy things but Manav also managed to move Truls side to side and pushed back with his aggression and placement. Tight serves too until pressure was on. Truls was stressing.

G1 showed how much spin Nagasaki puts on her loops, where the spin on all those anti blocks took her by surprise.

10, 11, 21, 22, 32, 33, 43, 44, 54, 55, 75, 77 TO for Winter by Boros?, 79, 89, 811

Harimoto is playing some of his best TT with Zyre as is Togami. Ultimately you find what works for you. No free lunches in TT. That LYJ is willing to try SALC and Zyre speaks for itself.

True though
But the consistency of the Chinese is also something that we should take into consideration.
It works well with Harimoto because of his current passive playstyle?
My thoughts are like these pros are already fit and generating tons of power in their forehand swing, so zyre doesn't make sense there. But for backhand maybe it's a different story.

MS R16
F. Lebrun (5) 3-0 QD (1, 7, 7)
G1 90, 91, 111

Felix is roughly equal to QD in MS now?

MS QF
F. Lebrun 2-3 QD (6, 3, -5, -10, -5)

Same verdict after WTT CS Chongqing 2024. BTW, Felix is roughly equal to/slightly ahead of QD in MT in the World after WTTC 2024.

https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/topics/19th-asian-games-hangzhou.31953/post-425870
After European Games 2023 and ETTC 2023, Felix is roughly equal to Qiu Dang in MS and definitely higher in MT in Europe, but still slightly trails in MS in the World.

Another solid win for Miyu Nagasaki. With the golden generation struggling, it'll be interesting to see if Miyu can grab an Olympic spot. Good start to 2026 for her.
A rare (in)sight.
