CTTA had a hard time to re-schedule the national championships [1/2 (doubles/team and singles) below] and CTTSL [3 /4/5 (1st leg/2nd/finals) below] between ITTF/WTT events (just settled with it on 7/2). As per usual, they want to make time for a month-long closed training ahead of Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Sep, to be followed by ATTC 2026 in less than a month.

Champions Yokohama is 3 days and Europe Smash is a week after the 2nd leg of CTTSL 2026. Too close to be viable.

Sato beat DN twice in 2019. What happened to her afterwards? Miki House literally put her on the back-burner for several years. Both Sato and to a lesser extent Hashimoto are still under their sphere of influence. So no chance unless they can get their WR up and within striking distance of the top 3.
