Coming from a table tennis family with some fame in Jiangsu province, his dad 曹振东/Cao Zhendong used to play at elite level and turned to coaching and his older brother 曹彦涛/Cao Yantao used to represent CNT until 2019. Unless the 14-year-old can do it like LSD did a few years ago and CNT is really desperate, the odds are not good, as the CNT has tightened the criteria for entering the national team recently.
