@Gozo Aruna : Since I watch Tee Ai Xin, when she doesn't win, she gives a scare to all her opponents.

I don't understand why she's not much more well known, why she doesn't have a higher rank, and why I discover her now, when she's not that young, at a TT point of view.
Coz' we keep the good stuff to ourselves. Just kidding. She has a win rate of 88% which is awesome. She is WTT Ranked 288.

Why is she so low ranked? It all boils down to money, money & more money. Malaysia is not a TT powerhouse. There is lack of sponsors and minimal government support for TT. Sending athletes for international outing cost money.

I hope that some day there is a breakout star and then hopefully the money start pouring in. We just need a star to start the fire. Could Ms Tee be the breakout star for the sport of TT in Malaysia?

p.s. Btw, not too long ago, a few months ago, a GS U13 won a WTT Youth event ( Turkey )

Congratulations to Hitomi Sato for winning women's singles over 3-2,11-6 over Choi Hyojoo. Prior to today, Choi had a 6-2 record over Hitomi, but the last time they played was in 2018.

Yuta Tanaka and Simon Gauzy are battling it out right now for the men's singles title as I type this.

And when he was luckier, he disappointed.

This is a common story in WTT, outside the top Chinese, everyone seems to have cycles of ups and downs, people want to focus on WTT ranking, but it only tells a limited story of playing strength.
