For future reference while JCH and Nagasaki are getting steamrolled by Hashimoto and SYB...

The birdie is really rubbing it in. Funny interactions between SYB and the ump...

LIVE! | T3 | Day 3 | WTT Star Contender Chennai 2025 Presented by Indian Oil | Session 1
https://youtu.be/BbHDM-JtFc8?t=4021
SYB: There, up, down, wipe (using hand gestures)
Ump: What is it?
SYB: There...
Ump: Here's the handkerchief. Help yourself, Lee.
LEH: What on earth? (looks at SYB)
SYB: THERE...
Ump: Oh... (goes over to confirm)
Ump: Hello! (waving at the staff)

Honoka is playing tournamanent of her life so far. Impressive performance!!! Joo is not really good against defender but Honoka has also beaten Hina on her way.
She was even more impressive at WTT SCT Bangkok 2024. Practically took out the entire KOR in WS (SYB, JJH, Yoo Yerin) and WD (SYB/JJH and Yoo Yerin/Choi Nahyun). Took down Harimoto, Sato and made Ito earn the title.

Overrated Shin beats Nagasaki.
Pot meeting the kettle. Both with 67% win rate so far this year, according to WTT. DHK, diagnosed with dystonia, beat SYB (and Shi Xunyao) to win WS bronze at ATTC 2024 and has an overwhelming H2H against SYB. What's the ranking of DHK?

Nagasaki took down ZYL twice in a row back in 2019 and was a factor leading to ZYL being dumped.

Any to show for SYB? KM, who couldn't beat her other than Harimoto?

I'm really liking Poret's wristy strokes. The competition for that 3rd spot in the Olympics for the French men is going to be heated but Poret will definitely be in the running.
3rd spot? With Alexis potentially at risk of reverting to his 2023 form, even the 2nd spot is not secured and up for grabs.

Wow, JNT Men are already out without any CNT in the tournament. Who’d have thought?
Final farewell gift to Tasei. Also a way to lower expectations so that Kishikawa can have a seamless transition to show his superb leadership if they explode at World Cup 2025 and WTTC 2025...

its a long flight to USA,
and if they arrive the even of the league match.... the player will never be 100%
if they arrive too many days ahead, the player will need to self fund costs.
so it is a difficult one.
I can have players arrive 3 or 5 days early to Germany and the clubs sorts out the costs.
USA cost is extreme btw.
In MLTT the teams often arrive 3-4 days ahead of the match to train together and shake off jet lag etc. and it is typically paid for by the teams (for the days before the matches) or league (from the first match day until they fly out).

3 out of 4 MS SFinalists are non-seeded players. Only Oh Junsung (12) made it.

Not what I was told by MLTT management and current player and next season players, but we can chat about it off line if you want

Congrats to T-League doubles partners Miwa and Kihara beating Shin Yubin / Ryu Hanna in a 3-2 thriller. I really like Ryu Hanna as a doubles partner for SYB. She has strong lefty serves with a booming forehand and good touch. They can be even better than the SYB / JJH pairing in time.

I'm not sure who you spoke to or what you were told but teams frequently arrange training camps for the days prior to the match weekend usually held at a nearby club. For example Paddle Palace club when the match was in Portland, 888 when the match was in Bay Area, Broward when the match was in Miami, Princeton Pong when the match was in NJ area, HITTA when the match is in Katy/Houston, etc. It's not an official MLTT activity but happens frequently and owners (if the team has one) cover these costs.
