I'm waiting to see how many WTT events in USA in 2025, its going to be a record qty, with 6 youth contenders and 1 smash already. so far no feeders announced, I am sure they will come.

Totally forgot about Budapest. Was lack of funds the reason for cancelling it or am I misremembering? I can imagine countries passing on hosting for financial reasons.

No explanation was given but it is believed to be lack of funding. According to Miyazaki, WTT rushed ahead and announced it before they got the green light from the government of Hungary.

nope, it is just build up to LA 2028.
WTT needs 4 Smash and 6 Champions.

looking at 1 Smash in each continent.
If not USA, where else in the Americas would you put 1?

so far, only Africa and Oceania will have no Smash (and champions)
But I understand Australia is trying to apply for something (not necessary Smash) in 1~3 years time.

I'm busy trying to find if there is Youth Smash.
So far I have told my partner coaches that there is none
