I am using the J&H X50.0 on my backhand atm , and it is soo good. Bit more catapult and lively than the Omega 7 Asia that I usually used on my BH, but great speed / spin ratio and comfortable to use. Problem is, the X50.0 is not available in Europe.
I ordered mine from Amazon Japan and it arrived in Germany within 4 days only-

Has you ever try Xiom Hayabusa ARX blade, any information about this blade.

Thank you sir.
Best regards,

I haven't had this experience yet, but I'm playing with a TMXi Pro and this blade is amazing... I have an ST and I'm going to adapt the handle to a penhold grip 🔪

Was checking the official Xiom Korea website. It seems like they released a new rubber for their domestic market. According to the Korean description, this is the successor of the popular Omega 2 Asia. They claim it has better control and better speed, and I highly doubt that this will be released in Europe.

Also, there are a bunch of new rubbers on the ITTF LARC:
- Tau III
- Vega China +
- Omega 3 Euro

Still no news on Omega 8 or Hugo TMX? Seems like it hasnt even been released in the Korean market.
Almost all of their recent ads focus on apparel, granted their design and color choices look awesome.

Meanwhile, 36.5 lineup (ALX and ALXi) is discontinued according to XIOM Europe

Xiom completely mismanages their products imo. None of their blades can become mainstay, popular blades because they only make them for a few years at a time. They can never have a "household name" blade (like Viscaria), because they stop manufacturing a piece of equipment right as it's getting popular.

I agree completely about their blades. Everything they make is quality but I only use their rubbers because many of their blades are discontinued after 2 years generally speaking.

On a different note... Where is the 2025 catalogue? Xiom recently released a teaser trailer for the new Omega but it had no information.

Does anyone know where Xiom rubbers are manufactured?
All Xiom rubbers are made in germany , produced by ESN. Funnily enough , many of those rubbers never make it to the European market.

No news yet on the catalogue for 2025. I wouldnt be surprised if it takes until summer or even longer until we can buy omega 8 and the new TMX blades. Probably worth the wait though, since their stuff is high quality and seldom disappoints.

More Info on Omega 8 :
"LIGHTER JEKYLL&HYDE
OMEGA 8 features the same 2-in-1 technology of Jekyll and Hyde while being lighter. Experience unmatched responsiveness for rapid rallies and sharp attacks."

That would be great news. Jekyll and Hyde Rubbers are really heavy. Omega 7 Series speciality was that all the rubbers were comparatively light in weight, and its one of the reaons I am still using Omega 7 Pro on my backhand

Some more updates regarding Omega 8 series. According to Xiom's instagram, omega 8 will be released from January. And, the Omega 8 Euro is back to 45 degree hardness, same as the omega 5 euro. omega 7 euro is 42.5 degree hardness. Also, the omega 8 hybrid was advertised as 50 degree in the 2024 catalogue, but has been adjusted to 52.5 degree hardness.

I will definitely try out the omega 8 pro on my backhand, as I am still currently using the omega 7 pro on my AJH TMXi Pro. I might try out the Omega 8 China on FH aswell if I can get my hands on a second TMXi Pro as my backup blade. I tried the C55 before and it was a great rubber, but nothing can replace h3 blue sponge on FH.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Omega 8 China: HARDNESS 52.5 THICKNESS MAX/1.9
Chinese rubber stabilized in quality. Less weight than J&H C, but powerful performance. Softer X FACTOR sticky rubber developed by AI.

Omega 8 Hybrid: HARDNESS 52.5 THICKNESS MAX/1.9
Hybrid with unique click feel and very speedy topspin. Low and powerful rebound from opponent's court to dominate the rally.

Omega 8 Pro: HARDNESS 47.5 THICKNESS MAX/1.9
High Catapult for slingshot effect. Powerful ball launch with less effort. Rubber structure developed by AI for smart and versatile plays.

Omega 8 Euro: HARDNESS 45.0 THICKNESS MAX/1.9
Great clicking and dragging. Soft version for European style. Rubber to dominate rallies with high ball trajectory and su-perb control.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

2IN1 LITEMAX

LIGHTER JEKYLL&HYDE Top-tier performance equipment for national-level players often demands heavier weight. Top players, who have developed table tennis-specific muscles through years of training, actually prefer heavier and stronger rubbers. This is because the balance and stability that weight brings are crucial, especially at high swing speeds. However, there are advantages of using lighter equipment. Particularly for close-to-the-table play, excessive weight can be a burden when trying to take control of the game with delicate touches. OMEGA 8 is a product that has reduced weight based on the JEKYLL&HYDE rubber. This new sensation will greatly benefit players in close-to-the-table attacks and rallies.
