How do you compare Nexy Etika with Nittaku Hammond Z2? Have you tried both?
Sadly I have only tried Nexy, as far as I know Hammond Z2 will be even more for Offense type players. Nexy (especially at 47°) is slightly easier to use in passive shots aswell. Both have a low Arc and shouldn't be too dissimilar overall.
(please take this with a grain of salt, since I only tried both Nexy Etikas)

thanks for the recommendations, i will look into that! are they like modern dynamic rubbers?
Not sure, I can tell you that in terms of speed it is quite linear. Therfore managable in short game and far from the table, quite predictable therefore. But you do feel a little bounce, ecpecially when you put it on your HAL blade. Hard ESN Rubbers will be less linear but probably with more catapult on hard shots, while still maintaining good touch on shorter balls. Even more noticeable with Hybrids I guess.

First practice with the O8C. I accidentally hit the racket on the table. What a shame.

About the O8C, it is a bit heavy. 52g on the Harimoto ALC. I used on Forehand. Backhand is K3 FX.

The sponge is hard, but the top sheet is soft. It is not that fast. It is slower than the K3, but it is faster than the Vega Pro H, Rakza Z, K3 FX. I found the rubber to be well controlled, I was able to put a lot of ball on the table, even when hitting it hard. I will use it for more practice sessions to get a more detailed opinion. First impressions were good for my game.

It feels really good. Easier to use than W968 but you lose some of the monster spin quality. I use o8c on FH and o8p on BH. I used to use boosted H3N BS on FH and O7P on BH on the TMXi Pri but it felt too heavy for me (197g) and I couldn’t get the proper BH loops some of the time. Changing to O8C and o8p reduced the weight to a perfect 193g and it feels so much more balanced.
I have the exact same issue with my heavier TMXi Pro that weighs around 92gm. What's the weight of your TMXi Pro blade?

D80 doesn’t feel that hard bc the top sheet is very soft. It’s extremely fast but you get the control bc ball goes into sponge easily. D05 feels much harder and harder to control while being slower.

o8p is about the speed of d05, but the responsiveness on d80 if that makes sense
Do you still maintain your version regarding the similarity of the O8Pro, that it is between the D80 and the D05?

The initial emotions may have already subsided and now rationality is starting to come to the fore (I usually do :p )
That's why I wanted to ask after some time has passed and you've played the O8Pro for a while.

Hi, i focus on of which rubber i buy for my fh and my two options are the O8P and Fastarc G-1. So really appreciate anyone who tried the O8P in forehand to know more about it. I’m Penholder btw.
G1 is less catapulty and top sheet is much harder as compared to o8p. It's also much heavier in weight. Durability wise, I've not had any rubbers that surpasses g1. O8p is too new to have an idea yet.

For sure. I previously tried C55 and H8-80 on this blade but it was too heavy and mushy for a lack of a better term. It ended up being around 199g setup (blade was 91g). I felt afraid to hit hard to activate the carbon because it felt like it would just send it flying. O8C gives a clear crisp feeling on FH and o8p works great for BH. Now the setup is 193g.
Ive just tried the same setup on my new dhs ac-b (88gm), fh o8c and bh o8pro. Total weight 188gm. Have compared the setup to another ac-b (87gm) with Fh k3 and bh o7pro. Found o8c to be way much slower than K3. Will try to compare more in detailed.

Have you compared the OP7 Pro with Op8 Pro on BH? And do you feel difference?

Yes definitely different. I have been using o8pro on my tmxi pro for 2 weeks now and the spin and speed on o8pro is greater than o7pro but also much more easier to control. O8pro is less bouncy where blocking is easier. Lifting underspin is effortless due to the increased grip.

Maybe K3 is more comparable with O8H, the one marketed as hybrid?

On another note, are all Omega 8 rubbers produced by ESN? Will it make sense to boost, say, O8C?

K3 and o8c are both 52.5 degrees hardness. On the back of the packaging it's mentioned that China is apparently light version of the J&H C series (C55).
Will be interesting to see what's new that Xiom will be introducing with the O8H.

Yes, O8 are all latest gen ESN rubbers. I will not recommend to boost them as they appear to me to be factory boosted. O8c sponge is not hard to begin with, further boosting may degrade it.

Wow I love OP7 and have played with it a couple of years. Thanks for your answer will buy the OP8 next time. Sound amazing :)
