I tried the Special Edition Powerplay-X and I didn't boost it since it had the glue layer on and I think it was pre-boosted. It felt pretty OK, not amazing but OK. Little bit on the heavy side on a Cybershape.
I had the 41 deg and I think if someone gives that a bit more boosting it will become great. For 40 USD it's worth it, even over H3BS but you need to use a fairly light BH rubber.

I tested both boosted and the speedupgrade from the pro version is not enough to pay the higher price for me.
But so far it is a very good and consistent substitute for H3. Currently my go to budget option that plays really well.

Next i will test it on my ALC and inner AC blade against H3 BS on both too.

I've used it on a W968 for a while now and I prefer it over the Vis. On the Vis I feel it's a tad too crisp and doesn't have a natural arc.

Interesting that is the experience i had with R9 on my outer alc. Gonna test it if it is the same with the Powerplay.
If that is the case, then they are quite close indeed.
But that would mean that both are unable to create that certain arc that H3 can produce. I will see and report back when i made all the comparisons.

Gluing Xuperman H40 now. Very curious, will try tomorrow and compare with R9. As usual, I'm late to the party ;-)

Update: So indeed it is a bit heavier, cca 4-5g heavier than Rxton9 40,5. My setup is now 202g. I don't mind that. The tackiness is less, which I don't mind either. The pimple structure looks similar too. At first I though the top-sheet above pimples is thicker than R9, but it doesn't seem so. Curious how it plays later today... I gave it 1 layer, as usual...

says Mr. super ZLC
I get them from a guy that deals with Xu Xin directly.

Red 37 and 38 cake sponge, different to that of black rubber.
he has probably everything that Xuperman sells, including all the clothing, socks, towels, keyrings for bags etc etc
can you send me a full catalog of Xuperman. I want some Xuperman clothes socks and rubbers.

Today was my 2nd training with the Xuperman Powerplay-X. I'd say it's a powerful rubber - if you can activate it. I said I compare it with Rxton 9 and actually the feeling from the top-sheet is closer to the DF Volant Phoenix, than to Rxton 9. It's like the top-sheet is a bit harder, not unpleasantly hard (like e.g. Battle 3 for me), but I miss the feeling from Rxton 9 and how easy I can grab the ball with it. I will give it more time, now I'm unsure whether I'll glue the Rxton 9 back (even quite used) for the rest of the season (18th,19th Jan next matches). Even if I glue Rxton 9 I'll spend some time the XP-X off season. Currently for my level, Rxton 9 is the best chinese rubber... How do you see it @Attitude?? And, ehh, the hardness, @Hurricane AON if I buy it again, I'll definitely take H40 again ;-) Cheers.

Edit: I realize my post is not that positive, but note, I really like DF VP and I like XP-X even more, and Rxton 9 even more. I like B2 BS also but less, and rubbers like B3, Victas TDE, STN I really don't like. So, I consider XP-X really good rubber...

Well yeah they are close, like many of these chinese rubbers^^

But i do kinda prefer the Powerplay over R9. In my experience and on my blade R9 had usually a flatter angle which i dont like. Looping with it feels more natural and i have less errors with it. But R9 is slightly faster and easier to activate for power overall.

That said i will probably stick with it for this season like you are thinking to change back to R9 for this season.
I tested H3 BS again and i like the angle even more and can make use of it way better now, though im still not quite used to it than i am with the powerplay.
