I do not know what 1300 level means fully, but I assume it is end of beginner and beginning of intermediate territory ? I think it was about 10-12 years ago for me. If so, my setup was probably something like :
Blade : Andrzej Grubba ALL+ (old one, with green-white coloured handle)
Forehand : Joola Topspin
Backhand : Tibhar Black Techno Backhand Special

imagine the EJ's coming out to list 50 blades and rubbers.

I will probably get to 1300 next year. will come back to this thread then
Blades and rubbers don't make that much of a difference when you get good coaching. They may slow you down a bit, But the hours, the player ans the coaching are usually the biggest driver.
