This was my first blade, I really like it and still play with it sometimes.

Its perfect for beginners as it isnt too fast and provides alot of control and feeling. The soft wood gives you a longer grip time of the ball.
Perfect to make controlled topspins. On the other hand it lacks a bit power for smashing and counter hitting because you need to do a big movement.

With about 25$ on tt11 its a very cheap blade for what it is. If youd like more feeling you can get the wrb edition with a hollow grip. However be aware this doesnt work well with all rubbers. I reccomend using light rubbers with wrb blades, otherwise the head wil feel very heavy.

I hope my review helped you!

This blade is utterly fast. I have a lot of trouble keeping my topspin on the table. Dont even have to use my body.

I paired it with Vega Asia Fh Vega Europe BH.
It has a medium throw. Using Vega Asia on Cho Tokusen gave me a slightly higher arc.
The speed i think is a bit too much. I have some trouble creating spin on the ball. Maybe with a grippier rubber like T05, Rakza X, Fastarc G-1 it becomes easier.
Spin is ok, nothing special. Despite being 1ply hinoki there isnt that much of dwell.Unless is far from table is difficult to generate huge spin.
ITS THICK. 11mm cpen blade, not counting rubbers. unless you have very big hands you gonna have a bad time...
RPB is difficult. The sweetspot on the rpb is little to none, very difficult to perform a precise shot, but if you do is very rewarding. Huge spin and low arc.
Heavy!! my setup is 213grms. Im a big guy and i still needed about a week to wrists get used to.

It was the last blade of the musical instruments line i bought but is by far the best. No vibration, awesome feeling, blocks, topspin, serves...all good.

The best experience i had was with medium/hard rubbers like Rakza 7, Adidas P7 and Fastarc G-1(the sponge is hard but top sheet is very elastic).
It has high throw, flexible(not that much), huge dwell and a the top ply is mildly hard. Perfect blade for begginers and intermediate level. Unless youre in a level that youre constantly in open rallies, the speed is more than enough with modern rubbers.

I tried with double inverted and it was awesome. With short pips, awesome too! - although had some trouble to adjust pips topspins. Now i want to try with long pips, Curl P-1R 1.2mm, im sure this blade will perform well too!

Of all the blades i have, this is the only one if i got a chance, i would buy 3 more of them.

I played with this blade for about 3 months. I tried with Omega IV Asia, FastArc G-1 and S-1.

I wouldnt compare this blade to Acoustic but to Tenor. This blade is very stiff with long dwell. Its hardness is something like Tenor on low and medium gear, on power loops and counters it felt too soft, even with Omega IV Asia.

Close and middle distance from the table this is the best blade i ever had (when paired with G-1). It does everything with control and speed.
Far from the table, despite being able to impact huge spins i felt a loss of control, consistency wasnt there. And my game is basically consistency. I dont have footwork, tons of speed of spin, but i always throw the ball back to the court.
Maybe if you pair this blade with less bouncy and harder rubbers like Omega V Tour and Asia, Hurricane or MX-S you can gain control away from table.
Now, the best experience i had with this blade was with short pips. I assembled Rakza PO and Fastarc S-1 and tried to stay very close to the table. Its just awesome. Could hit everything and even consistent topspin with pips due its softness. Highly recommended Short Pips blade.

In short:
High Speed like TBALC, more than Viscaria, Tenor, Ludeack Fleet.
Awesome control just like Acoustic.
Good spin. Its very stiff and you have to be right on time to impact huge spins close to table. Medium/Long distance its a monster.
Outstanding feeling. Felt like an allwood blade. Could only feel the carbon when i smashed. Short game is so precise.
Medium Throw. I had to put some effort to lift spinny counter loops.
Medium Trajectory.

Overall a very good value for money, I had this with my first blade and it was a very good rubber to start with. While this is not as fast as tenergy or similar rubbers, it is very consistent and gives you very good control. It is on the heavy side but from what I've seen so far this is one of the best value rubbers.

The blade is well made, which is expected considering the price of this new Tibhar blade.

My previous blade was all wood and a bit slower: Tibhar Force Pro Black Edition (FPBE).
The carbon feeling of the CCA is not too dominant and I keep plenty of control so the transition was pretty smooth (except for the price! ;))

It is 6mm thick. The carbon layer is next to the outer ply.

I have been playing with this blade for several weeks.
FH : Tibhar Evolution MX-P
BH : Victas V>01 Limber then very recently Tibhar Evolution MX-P

It has some mild vibrations which I like.

The handle of the FPBE is quite massive, so the weight is very well balanced, even paired with heavy rubbers. The handle of the CCA Unlimited is more standard, thinner, therefore the whole setup is head heavy.
With 2 sheets of MX-P I end up with a setup slightly over 190g and a bit head heavy. It was quite disturbing at first compared to the FPBE then I quickly got used to it. You might dislike it though.
Perhaps the reason why Vladi's using a grip : enlarge the handle for his large hands and balance the weight.

Paired with Evolution MX-P, it's a dream match.
The more power you give the more dwell time you benefit. Counter-hits and active blocks are easy and accurate.
The blade is fast but I never feel it is too fast.
Given the speed (of both the blade and rubbers), the short game is very good and you get plenty of touch. The grip of MX-P shines when performing back-spins.

I usually play with a soft and control oriented rubber on BH but with this blade I can afford to play with MX-P on BH and keep the ball on the table with a great variety of strokes.
Pros

Cons
  • Thin outer layer
Great blade at a good price. Lightweight blade with small vibrations, allows you too make controllable loops and topspins. The difference between both sides is slightly noticeable. Confortable FL handle, the only thing i didn't like was both outer plies are very thin but i guess that makes it controllable. I suggest always use a fast high quality rubber on the ALL+ side, and experiment all you like with the DEF+ side.

I bought this blade because i was struggling with my control issues which have diminished since i started using this blade. I use Skyline 3-60 on the DEF+ side of the racket but I use it for FH, FX-P on the ALL+ side for BH.

Pros: My BH flicks above the table are now my main weapon, since i couldn't perform this with my previous blade (Tibhar triple carbon OFF++), FH topspins are good but better with not-tacky rubber since they have a lower throw angle

Cons: Not suitable for blocking or chopping with soft rubbers, i guess i should have go for mid and hard ones. Not for the lazy, you need to generate your own power and not rely on the spring effect of hi tech rubbers

I know this blade should be paired with pimples, but I don't know how to play with those yet, maybe in the future and I'll add it to the review.

Overall great product, fun to play with and delivers what it promises: 9/10

This rubber is like an upgraded version of friendship 729. It is cheap and yet a beast if user gets used to it...I still need to experience it on a Stiga Tube Alu since I have a globe blade before.

Overall, this is a goofd fast rubber. It is very good for the punching and counter attacking due to the power it can generate. However,I don't really like the fact that I can't produce those spinny loops as well as I could on tenergy. But,when I really go for the point and just hit through the ball, the rubber really shines you get amazing spin and speed! It can be spinny when used wiselyIt's a good rubber, worth a try. It's fast though good for backhand and forehand!

Spin and control is brilliant without too much effort, it is definitely good for a first time tenergy user.Easy to lift backspin.I don't really like it on the forehand as although it's fast I feel a lack of power especially with the soft sponge. It's best suited for the backhand. To use the rubber you do need to have good touch and push as the ball can often drift high, if weak at the short game.Overall, good rubber despite the price!

Well, I buy this blade cuz of its price and because of my amazement to this blade. I buy it with the Xiom Omega V Euro on FH and Stiga Airoc Astro S on BH (RPB). All of the rubbers are in max thickness. I Bought my blade for $60 (Rp. 700.000 in Indonesia). Its weight is around 84-86g. I bought the penhold version of the blade. Enjoy the review.

FH Topspin : Really great !!! Dwells much that creates a lot of spin. Controllable yet still fast and powerful to topspin from mid until away from the table. But Im not to satisfy to topspinning away from the table because it lacks a bit power so needing more effort.

BH Topspin : BH topspinning with my RPB is also great. It keeps the trajectory low to medium and give the opponents more problems to return the stroke. Try to use a medium to medium soft rubbers on the BH, its feels great.

Open Ups/Loops : Loops and Open ups are very effortless. The all-wood feel gives very good feedback and dwell that create a lot of spin thats hard to return. Very satisfying.

Driving/Hitting : Lacks a bit of accuracy, but its good for me when i use it on BH (that is not RPB [the same side]) still making a good stroke.

Blocking : Feels great. Lacks power a bit.

Counter attacks : Very good. Pair it up with my Xiom Omega V Euro, can create a really effortless counter attacks like topspin, loops and counter drives. Creates good trajectory.

Serving : Feels only a bit bouncy, but still can create a lot of spin.

Short play : Feels a bit lack of control, need to adjust but when done adjusting it, I satisfated for the result. Flicks also good. 3rd ball and 5th ball is awesome.

Conclusion : For me this the weapon that RPB Penholders searching. Its easy to create a very strong 3rd ball. I recommended for mix to agressive players that still like to play with power.

William

Hi guys !!! This is my best FH rubber that I used and I gonna do some simple reviews of it.

Warming : This rubber is really good. It is great in hitting and FH blocking. But I kind of need extra speed in hitting. To do that you need to hit harder.

Serving : Using 2 of my main serves, reverse underspin pendulum and high toss backspin serves, it was really good. Creates a lot of spin and makes many of my opponents make errors. Using fast serves also good. My fast serves really cast many of my opponents.

Short Play : Also good, but usually leads the ball to the net. Need to get the racket more under neat the ball, but still its good for shorts. When I have the opportunity to do the FH flick, it is spinny, fast and direct with extreme accuracy.

FH Topspin : It is really good. Close and mid from the table. Spinny and have good throw. This is one of the reason I choosed for FH.

BH Topspin : I don't use it for BH Topspinning as well I'm a Penholder with RPB. Well, I use Stiga Airoc Astro S for my RPB.

Blocking : It is very good for Blocking cuz of its speciality that dont even react to spin. Good for FH and BH (not RPB) blocking. I also can do good drop shots.

Counter Attacks : The rubber is very very very very good and excellent for counter attacking. It is a pleasure with this rubber. Very precise and spinny. You can add extra speed with more power.

Loops/Opening Loops : It is good for looping. The first opening loop is easy, if the opponent return the loop, you can do the second killing loop.

Drives/Hitting : Good for hitting, still direct.

Chopping : Alsso good as it doesnt react to incoming spin.

Durability : This is also very good it still acts like a new rubber even used after 4 months.

Well, I recommend this rubber for mix style play that likes to play with power. My setup is Blade : Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Offensive Penhold , FH : This rubber and my BH : Stiga Airoc Astro S

P.S : Sorry for any mistakes on my english.

At last I will permanently use this rubber for my BH. It was very good. Spin, Speed and Control everything is amazing. I'm turning from the Chinese style play into Hybrid play of Chinese and Euro/Jap style. Very good. Now My RPB is much much better than before. Well, its fast and with a bit medium throw. But still good

A good backhand rubber, is better with a carbon or a hard blade. Easy to control, great feal on inpact. But i have to say the durability is very low compared to other rubbers. Blocks are very easy and low, consistency is a great on this rubber. It is a slow rubber, the soft sponge and the top sheet tries to compensate that with the catapult effect.

Having tried so many Poly balls - the 3 Star Nittaku Premium 40+, along with the Seamless XuShaoFa Premium 3 Star 40+, is quite simply the best ball out there. I'd probably rate the Nittaku only very slightly ahead of the XuShaoFa premium ball. Recently played a tournament in Australia and the nominated ball was the Double Fish 3 Star. However many players brought their own Nittaku Premium balls, including myself, and when possible we played with those.

Butterfly introduced the new Bryce Highspeed (BHS) late last year with their new Micro Layer technology. The new rubber should come up for a test. For testing I used the Butterfly Garaydia ZLC blade and 40+ balls. The BHS is with 2.1mm sponge.

Unpacking
The new packing just looks amazing with the color and design. You are not in doubt when buying a Butterfly product you get an quality item. One could argue if the new logo looks great, but I am beginning to like it more.

Drive
The Bryce HighSpeed has a special feeling compared to the Tenergy series. It feels kind of soft without really being soft and it may be due to the new top sheet. I tried the rubber in FH initially, but I didn't like the soft feel so I quickly switched it to my BH where it felt more comfortable. The BHS and GZLC is a fast setup and which makes driving the ball effortless.

Loop
When looping I could feel the BHS has a good dwell time due to the 35 degrees sponge and the Micro Layer top sheet. Initially I had to adjust my shots because of the medium-low throw angle the rubber had. The control is reasonably good for a fast rubber with Butterfly's High Tension technology.

Block
In the blocking game the BHS really showed its potential. I felt it was very controllable and the stability was very good which made I could direct the shots where I wanted. Also another I noticed was that the BHS was less sensitive for incoming spin compared the Tenergy series.

Flicks/Short play
The BHS is a very good rubber for BH flicks. Here the good dwell came in hand helping to get grip in the ball. Short play was also easy you could keep the ball close to the net. Also spinny serves could be received short because of the rubber was less sensitive to spin.

Conclusion
Butterfly has developed a new rubber with the new Micro Layer combined with their High Tension technology, stating that the rubber has more grip and spin? Compared to the Bryce Speed maybe yes, but not the in comparison to the Tenergy series. The feel is a notch softer and that may be due to the softer 35 degree sponge and Micro Layer top sheet.

I would recommend the rubber to the player who stays close to the table and likes to play the fast driving and block game. Also the player that likes to do BH flicks and has a strong short game.

Firstly I got to say: Awesome blade! I played it for around 2 years and it was worth every second. The blade is quite cheap (64€). While playing you have a good amount of speed (Played with T05), good control and you can the feel the ball great (sounds weird). BUT when changing rubbers, the top layer peeled off!!! On my second VPS it worked without problems but I heard people talking about the same problem.

I think the Stiga Infinity VPS is great offensive blade! 5 out of 5 stars

This review is for DHS Hurricane 3 National (white package) which is available to the public (Megaspin, Table Tennis 11, TTnPP, Li-Ning). It is the most expensive ($50 - $100) of the Hurricane rubbers that is officially sold to the public by DHS ($60 from shop-lining.com, Li-Ning majority stakeholder of DHS).

Top sheet is tacky (can hold a worn plastic ball upside down for over 10 seconds), grippy, and extremely durable (still tacky with excellent grip after 72 hours of play). The quality and consistency is above other iterations of Hurricane 3 and Hurricane 3 Neo (except I have not tried any National versions of Neo rubber and do not know how legit these are since they are not officially sold by DHS).

The sponge is orange, 40 degree hardness. Quality like the topsheet is exceptional. The rubber has 4 edges.

Usage: Rubber gets one layer of Haifu whale speed glue, then the blade, then the rubber gets a second layer. The rubber curls and must be held flat with a couple of heavy books for at least 2 hours. This initial priming softens the sponge and the rubber is ready to use. There after, the rubber is never removed or reglued for the 3 months played. Rubber is cleaned with water after each play session. Between points, breath and palm wipe is used to remove dust.

Short game: It is very easy to place forehand push shots. It has high control with the forehand flip as well. For users of the Hurricane 3 series, the feeling is familiar.

Forehand drive: The catapult and control is equivalent to H3 neo and Hurricane 8. Shots have excellent feel. There is no lack of power at the middle distance. A more powerful blade seems necessary from far distance.

Forehand loop: Spin can be extremely strong and consistent. Where the tacky new Hurricane 8 slips with a counter loop brush, Hurricane 3 National has no problem. Hurricane 3 National top sheet has more spin than Hurricane 8. The arc is mid-high and dips earlier compared to H3 neo.

Serves: As with the short game, the extreme spin and control makes short pendulum/reverse pendulum serves easy to execute.

Overall: Hurricane 3 National is the best Hurricane rubber that I have used. Speed and spin are at least equal to other H3/neo/H8, while quality
consistency and longevity (and price) surpass the others.

Played a season with P7 on BH, and started looking for a replacement like many others. Became curious about Nittaku Fastarc G-1, and purchased a sheet. Well, here is a surprise. Nittaku Fastarc G-1's sponge, the topsheet surface, pips - all look and feel identical to P7's. Plays the same way.

TLDR: Anyone looking for a P7 replacement should seriously consider Nittaku Fastarc G-1.
