Happened to me once when I was looping. My bat went straight at the wall and the tape left a small red stain on there.

Haha i´ve done that as well

But i was at the back and hit one of the dividers. Amazing how long a bat can fly! And the reaction of these to, Love it

My opponent shot of a fast topspin serve to my FH, I did a hasty kill drive with the bat hitting the edge of the table, bat flies straight to my opponent's upper lip, jarring his dentures loose. ha ha ha Game over!

I also did it when I was about 14, I was playing down at my club and my opponent lobbed a ball and when I went to smash it I accidentally lost grip on my bat and my bet went flying into the wall and smashed the handle off, that's the only time I've ever had that happen
