Today on the 28th January Zhang Jike defeated Ma Long at the China Trials for WTTTC 2014 qualifying for the World Team Championships in Tokyo!

Zhang Jike and Ma Long were both tied in the top position of the leader board after 8 matches in the Chinese Trials. On route to the final stage, Ma Long eliminated Xu Xin in four sets and Zhang Jike beat Cheng Jingqi. In final match up the London 2012 Olympic Champion Zhang Jike defeated Ma Long in four sets booking first place in the Chinese team for the World Team Championships 2014. Zhang Jike 3 - 1 Ma Long (6:11, 11:6, 11:9, 11:9)
