I have a coach from China that is using his old H3 national rubber but it now has bubbles. Honestly, I don't see anything magical about H3 national but I would like to know if there is some rubber that comes close. I want to find something suitable for him before the US Open.
My coach has T05 on his BH but doesn't like T05 on his FH. He says it is too soft.

The closer to H3 national is the commercial H3.
The top sheet might be the same but the sponge isn't. I have put a few H3 rubbers on my blades and it isn't very fast.
I haven't seen where H3 6 corners is readily available in the US. I will look at megaspin.
BTW, my coach is now using H3 commercial until he can get H3 National.

Big Dipper at 40Deg, not sure if it will still be too soft
Xiom Tau/Vega China are nicely H3 Provincial types, maybe can work

The coach believes he must have H3 national.

My coach some how obtained what was sold to him as H3 national but he is not sure it is the real thing. I am not sure his old H3 national was the real thing. It looked a lot like H3 commercial to me. The sponge is a dense orange-yellow. Any way my coach is playing with it so the matter is closed. It looks like he has the rubber he is going to play with at the US Open. Thanks for your suggestions.

BTW, this really was for my coach. I would spend that much on a rubber.

Next time you could also try Haifu Blue Whale II. That is pretty good. Very similar to H3.
H3 which version of H3? Commercial, provincial or national? My coach seems to be very particular.

I think the whole thing is in my coaches mind and that the ridiculous high price for H3 national is outrageous.

I am playing with this rubber currently, and I have to say it is fantastic.it is not slow like the normal tacky rubbers,it is not quite tacky, but the spin is very much like a traditional chinese tacky rubber.another thing is that the tuner lasts very long.

I think it is well woth it.there have been complaints with regards to the new ones thsat don't have the black sponge so I advise trying to find the ones with a black sponge
