butterfly korbel

Is there any official document that says korbel is limba-limba-ayous-limba-limba ?
I'm starting to think maybe it's limba-ayous-ayous-ayous-limba.
The second and 4th plies of my new mazi look very similar to the 2nd and 4th plies of a korbel I used to have.

I am not sure what would be "official". On the Butterfly NA website, they make a statement about the Viscaria composition that everybody knows is incorrect. They have not corrected it for about 15 years. I think Btfly themselves only got around to correcting the misspelling of "perfomance" on the front of the blade after more or less 20 years.

or somebody just came up with that?

Haha. I sometimes think that a third of the stuff I hear about table tennis, in general, comes from such reliable sources such as, some guy on the internet said so.

okay, I tried to write to Butterfly itself, but the answer was its company secret, so we wont know for sure, until some real wood expert disasemble the blade (?)

according this image i can say the top ply is limba and the core is ayous .... but what is under the top ply i`m not sure ... but is definitely not limba

the reason I asked is because now I bought a mazunov, I look at it, and it looks pretty similar to what korbel looks like.
I mean the second ply.
Actually it's pretty easy to tell if the top ply is limba, but it seems in all the other cases people just name randomly limba or ayous according to the weather that day.
for example viscaria some will say is koto-alc-limba-kiri-limba-alc-koto
and some will say it's koto-alc-ayous-kiri-ayous-alc-koto

Butterfly rarely releases official information regarding the wooden composition unless it's stated in the name (eg. J-pen Cypress(Hinoki)).
Even in their custom blade order section, you can only choose the composition in current blade's name.
