Hi,I am from Canada and the particular province that I live in (New Brunswick) is the only province that does not have a Table Tennis Association. In fact, we don't have any clubs either. So those interested in playing table tennis have to find others who like to play and arrange games to be played in our homes. I also have a robot that I practice with three or four times a week. I have finally found a couple of practice partners within a 45 minute drive that like to practice and play competitively. The closest tournaments that I am eligible to play in take place in Nova Scotia with some of the tournaments being up to a five hour drive away. Thanks for reading
Hi Archo,
The best way to practice resetting footwork between strokes is to try to get back to your "ready-position" (the place you would be when receiving a serve, slightly to the left of the centre line) between every shot.

It does make sense. I think I've caught onto something. I don't want to talk too much: the video will show if anything has really changed.Hi Archo,
The best way to practice resetting footwork between strokes is to try to get back to your "ready-position" (the place you would be when receiving a serve, slightly to the left of the centre line) between every shot. This will feel extremely difficult to begin with, but once you get used to that side-to-side movement, you can adjust it accordingly to match the practice you are doing. So if you are doing, as you said in your original post, forehand loop to forehand loop, you don't have to move all the way to your ready position between shots, but you should still move in that direction. Finding a position to "reset" to between shots helps to develop rhythm and consistency. After all, it is much easier to side-step right than left to get to a forehand, as you can stretch to it if needs be, (not recommended though!) and throw your weight into it. Whereas you are off balance if you have to shuffle left to a ball. This is partly why the service receive ready position is more towards the backhand (left) side.
Hope this makes sense/helps a bit![]()
Something like that makes sense. I will just have to figure out for myself how it's really done.
@Der_Echte,
Where you at? Still sleeping in what Alaska?
Or probably...
No doubt, training new Goon Squad member ttmonster in the ways of the spyphone and the Korean Way to TT! If you told me you'd had to kill me!
Hope you are safe and sound and acclimated to CA!
He is in California all right OSPH, we are supposed to meet soon ...lets wait for more from @Der_Echte ...
Hi, I have only had the opportunity to play in two tournamentsin Nova Scotia. I often have difficultybeing sharp in my first couple of matches. How to you prepare for your matches on game day?
So I managed to put out more stuff today for Jirrex, Boogar, OSPH and pingpongholic.
I don't do enough multiball, and I've never done multiball with a really good feeder

Wait....does this mean you have done multiball? You said this as though you actually have. What happened to how resistant you were to the idea of carrying around more than 3 balls for self hit practice? Are you now carrying around a bucket of 144 balls? [emoji2]
Oh, well, perhaps I should just mind my own business. Nevermind.
And the truth is, I remember feeding buckets of balls to a friend and having him feed me buckets back when I was truly terrible. So it is totally possible. But you need a decent quantity of balls. And they will go all over the place.

Since you seemed to like the vids, I´ve found two more from the German women´s team.
Wan Guohui almost has the same ballfeeding-speed like the famous ZJK Coach...
