Lets start a conspiracy theory, I think Hao Shuai thinks he has a chance to restore his international career now that the person who slapped him is out from the head coach position

The truth of the matter is that Hao Shuai was always great vs the rest of the CNT players. I think it was 2015 when he was ranked 5th in China before the trials for the 2015 WTTC.

And the reason he did not advance was because the CNT coaches pulled him out. Not because he didn't place well enough.

But he has a history of knocking high ranked CNT players out of tournaments and then losing to European spin players.

He does a good job of using the power of the CNT players against them. But then does not have enough of his own power to finish off guys who are not trying to blast the ball past him.

But it is true, perhaps the new coaching staff will overlook the reasons the previous CNT coaches were not letting him compete internationally.
