anybody knows?

their titles are strange, too. it calls anti ( pips in?), smooth: (pips-out?) , long pips, short pips(what is that ), and so on.

What's so srange about it? Just the usual classification, "smooth" are just inverted rubbers like most of the people use, "anti" is antispin an long / short pips is kind of self explaining..

thank you! very expensive!
do you know if any store in vancouver can sell it?

thanks.

There's a place in Richmond, BC called Bridgeport Sports Club which sells it for $65, which is cheaper than buying online. There's another club in Vancouver that sells tt equipment but idk if they have it. Yes it is expensive, but butterfly products do cost more...i'm pretty sure you can find a cheaper alternative.

Hi Fatcat, welcome to the forum.

About H3, there are so many versions...it is no doubt a good rubber. But in order to get the most out of it, you must really hit it. As for feel and short game and spin, it's perfect.

Bryce Speed is the opposite, it has loads of power and spin, but lacks in the feel department (because of the hard rubber/sponge). But of course, all this depends on the type of blade you are using.
Butterfly products are expensive, but there are so many rubbers out there that have almost the same playing characteristics of bryce speed FX.
Xiom Vegas and Omegas, Stiga Boosts and Calibras and so on. It's worth looking at them too.

I am using pure woods rackets(wondering if my term is accurate enough:), so it is very light one, joola k3.
I intend to put H3 red in forehand and H3 black in forehand, about $36

Hi fatcat, welcome to TTD :)

I don't know your level.. But if you are a starter, then I can tell you that the racket you mentioned is a great starters setup! :)
Feel free to ask anything about equipment, I will try to answer as good as I can, and so will the others in here probably do to! ;)

Btw; the correct term for an all wood blade is just all wood blade, haha :D

Warmest welcome to one of the greatest table tennis forum, FatCat :)
Its great to see that you've come to the right place. Our guys knows about inverted rubbers really well.

Also, if you haven't, why don't you introduce yourself in this thread so we could know you better. You could tell your playing style, your aptitude in table tennis so far, etc so we could help you better.

Hmm regarding bryce or H3, if you use an all wood blade, maybe you will find the H3 a tad slow, but the control is great so its good if you are a starter :)
I also naturally suit chinese rubber both on my forehand and backhand, maybe just like you :)

I haven't tried bryce but I guess the H3 will suit you. I am not completely sure though because I don't have any idea about your blade either.
Tell us what it feels like after you tried your setup will you ;)

If you find a problem with your setup in the future, we would be glad to help. All you need to do is just ask.

The Joola K3 is a good blade, loads of dampening effect if I'm right, but very stiff and elastic. I think it should go well with H3. A little note for you, with Bryce, your short game may suffer a bit initially because of the dampening, but I am sure you'll get the hang of it in no time.

Hope you'll have a good time here and we forward to your posts in the future. Happy Holidays buddy.
