Wow on FailBlog! Thats insane! I have known them since the start when I started my youtube career, crazy to see a TableTennisDaily video on their site!

just from reading the comments there i can already tell people are getting more interested in the sport, and even doing some research on the rules. I think this video will really promote the sport in a big way especially when the countdowns of 2011 start

Hey Axamax, thanks for the positive comments. I think your right, people are starting to realise how difficult this sport really is. This video has made the sport enjoyable to watch and its showed the skill involved by all players. And as you say, people are even googleing the rules ect to find out whats right and whats wrong.

I think 2012 is a big year in terms of Table Tennnis with the World Tour and lets not forget the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics! Once people see the sport being played on their TV screens they may want to take up the sport and search for more about it on the internet.

Geca, it is a kind of unfair, isn't it? We do videos and videos, Dan makes one and he gets the cake of 2011

What I meant by that was that we should all get hopping and keep checking the video out. I watch the video at least twice a day, so it'd be great to get a video of Table Tennis to the viral level. It really needs to be up there. The only videos of Table Tennis to go viral are either spoofs or very old videos. I'd like to see some TTD videos go viral in a matter of weeks.

In terms of videos, viral is usually a good thing.

Sure it is good for the game, but as for USA table tennis growth, you have to have infastructure and clubs + people to treat the new player right plus incentive to keep 'em coming. USA has to develop that and the ingredients are set to benefit from stuff like this.
