Hello,
I would like your help for choosing the best racket for me :

I am an amateur player, playing for about 20 years ( almost 50 years old).I am playing close to the table and trying to attack or at least trying to be the first one to attack on both sides.

Forehand is my favorite stroke and I can do spins, drives and even "kill" the ball.
Backhand , I do not do spin , only drive attack ( just pushes fast the ball - stretching my hand forward).

When having the time in the game I move to the left side of the table and make a forehand stroke.

Now I am playing with blade : Andro super core carbon light : all+
and rubber : Rakza 7 soft ( both sides)

I feel that this racket is not ideal for me (
even though I preffer a light racket), that is why I am asking for your help.

Thank you,
Shai.

The optimal choice of equipment can vary wildly depending on the shots you do most.

If you like to counter hit strong or counter topspin close to table, those slower ALL to OFF- wood blades really excellent there.

If you like to hit fast and flat and finish point early or get into bang bang low spin exchanges, then your OFF+ rocket launchers are for you.

If you are a close to table blocker and pick hitter, the SLOW blades DEF to ALL are your sweet spot.

So, one can see that there is no single correct answer to the OP question. We get this and similar questions on the forum all the time. It is impossible to properly answer them all on limited info.

Thank you so much for your reply,

On the forehand,my first priority is always make a spin , but with that fact I still stay close to the table so
I need a racket suitable for that.

Blade - I am using andro all+ , but still I would like your advice on all+ to off- blades for me.
rubber - I am using ragza 7 soft , I think I have to get a harder rubber but still have a feeling for the spin and yet make sure that the ball will not go too high (throw angle ?) because I am close to the table.

waiting for your advice ,
Thanks.

If you play close to table, in my experience you need some blade and rubbers that give ou low arc and good spin, you wont need very fast equipment, just some good rubbers to counter spin.

I guess chinese rubbers would be the choice, and some blade like a clipper.

Clippers are heavy and OP is asking for a light weight blade
