Xue Fei switched from N301 to W968. In the second round he beat Lin Gaoyuan 3:0 😲

Chinese Trials for WTTC-2023 - the first table tennis qualifier (Trials) for the 2023 World Table Tennis Championship Finals in Durban, South Africa, which will be held in Beijing, China from 18 to 23 February 2023 under the leadership of Chinese Table Tennis Association.

He made it to the semis but had to withdraw due to fevers, presumably COVID. That's why FZD didn't have a semifinal opponent and advanced directly into the finals.
Ah I see, I would've been betting on WCQ. He seems to be slightly on his way up, while FZD is plateauing.
