oh I should check my unopened Bloom spin as well...unless it's the best rubber ever i will stay away from the Bloom series.
The ones with ITTF marking has a green small sticker on the package. At least my Bloom Power has this sticker...

Look forward to hearing your thoughts on Bloom Power. That was one of my favorite rubbers when I tested it, but it's been a long long time since I used it, so it's not fresh in my mind. I definitely remember it being very fast and very tacky.

Ok, next rubbers I'll try are 729 Bloom Power 47d

What hardness are we actually talking about here ?
The seem to do 45 and 47 which on one scale would make them hard as a rock and on the other scale they would be as "puffy" as a neo 37 or even softer. ????????

No ITTF...I guess I will give it away for free to a beginner in my club.

I measured Bloom 47 in my other thread.

Well that sucks. I remember there was a time when the Bloom Power without the ITTF number was in the LARC. I guess the new version with the ITTF number printed on the topsheet means that they've removed the old entry and those without are no longer legal.
Don't worry. Just intentionally lose before open singles finals. I am sure they don't check.....

Ok, just kidding. It has been 10+ years since I last played in tournament but I don't think they really check that hard...

I was choosing between H8-80 and H9, they both use #80 sponge but I chose H9 based on the review it has more controlled blocks, and the violet color :p
they claim same sponge
but H9's one is so much more brittle
sponge pieces every where on the table
I have never seen something like that before

H9 topsheet isn't as good as H8
H8-80 over H9 any day

The green sticker is on the paper wrapping, and there's the correct number and marking on the rubber as well. If you don't play competitions where they check your rubber. Use it :) The rubber is the same...

that sounds real weird, from 47 to 45 = hard to mushy within 2 degrees.
Yep Strange. But I glued my 47deg to a blade for testing and show just yesterday, and the sponge is hard and the feeling is really DHS 40-41, more 41 actually.

I had certain expectations about H9, but it looked a bit gimmicky, especially for the price asked, so I did not buy a sheet yet - it seems, that I had a better decision when I chose to enjoy sheets of Friendship Battle II Gold and Battle III instead (they are on the way, not received them yet).

The H8-80 is a good rubber. I wish DHS would make it with 40deg sponge but, maybe then it would be more like the LAC. H8-80 is pretty durable.
