Rxton 9 arrived today.

View attachment 26733View attachment 26734
View attachment 26730View attachment 26731

Looks very cool and quite high quality
sealed package like the H3 Neo.
glue layer on the back with a plastic sheet on it, like H3 Neo.
Total weight 95g with entire packaging,
with the sheet on the back 71, without 69g.

I will probably apply 1 boost this evening and next one tomorrow morning.
After that we will see.
I should take the plastic sheet on top off as well for boosting right? it makes sense to me but this one chinese former national guy did it with it still on so I am not quite sure

It will most likely go on my Ebony topply, inner zlc blade.

Looks promising, I am a little excited.
I got it for 29 Euros, will update once i get to test it.

PS: I got a Battle 3 as well, might take some time to test it but thats something as well
( Got way too many black rubbers now, anyone got ideas?)
I am a bit disappointed of the Rxton9 rubber design :( the packaging looks beauuutiful though, but the printing on the rubber is uglier than Arthur China :(

Even the Battle 3 has a much greater design despite I don't like its playing characteristics

Yes, to be honest, my favorite purchases have been when the seller lied to me.

I ordered a blade and asked for 90g. I received 94g blade. I disputed and got 50% refund. Half price discount for a few grams? not bad

I ordered a Fang bo carbon that did not have Fang Bo's face on the handle, received a $10 refund, not bad.
i somehow got full refund for my fang bo b2x, i somehow feel like i scammed them.

don't worry about it too much, sooner or later someone will screw you anyway so it will all come out in the wash 🤣
I got a half price reduction once because on the photos there was a stamp on the handles : "CTTAA" (something like that) but when the blade arrived it had no stamp.
We deserve to get exactly what we paid for.

Yes exactly. I always feel I have gotten more than I deserve from ordering on Ali. Either they refund me and I get a great deal, or the product itself is just well worth the low price.

Which store did you order from? Did the seller give you the refund or did Ali intervene and give you refund?

What was the issue with your B2x?

If the chinese government would pay me as much as they pay you to promote chinese goods, I would likely write very similar posts. 🤣:devilish:🤣

It has already curled even with the plastic sheet on after 1-2 hours.

About Aliexpress:
since there is a discount right now I could get a real H3 National BS for 50 Euros,
I dont need it, nor do I really want it but I inclined to buy it just for the purpose of having it and possibly reselling it.
I am unsure about that and the discount is only for a day and 10 hours so I dont got much time.
I have enough black chinese forehand rubbers for the rest of my lifetime ( little exagerated).

Also I feel like I scammed a seller once after he refunded me something for 10 Euro after I filed a refund but didnt need to return it.( non tt related item from a big store)

Since we are all mostly playing with carbon blades or similarly playing allwood blades I have a question:
How do the hard chinese rubbers play on "slower" allwood blades.
Is there enough speed even with the right technique or do the balls all go into the net.
For me a "slower" allwood blade is my Stiga OC.

Very well, I got H3 and H3neo on a TSP Blockman II. This is one of the slowest blades ever on the market but with these rubbers it is the perfect Allround combo. I do not play far away from the table at my age but any 5 ply wood blade will be faster than the TSP .

I finally get to try out LAC. I went to my club and hit for 2 hours. Put it on FH with Moon blue on BH.

LAC is both tackler and bouncier than Rxton 5 and other Rxtons. It could pick up a ball to ~10 cm before dropping, ball bounces 5-6 times before stopping if dropped from 20 cm. Its topsheet feels a bit like Sanwei Target Provincial 3 but of higher quality. Sponge feels slightly firm but not very hard compare to other tacky Chinese rubber.

I was amazed by how easy it was to lift backspin with LAC. Mid table looping was also great. With ~70% power my loop can sometimes caught my practice partner out (who could block me all day if I was using Rxton 5). Other areas are good but not as stand out as the two I mentioned above. I struggle slightly with serving short and pushing but that's more about me not used to LAC yet. The surface grip is certainly high enough.

One minor complaint would be about its weight. It was 69g uncut which isn't that heavy to be fair, but a few grams higher than Rxtons. Combine with my Moon blue (M+) on my BH, my setup went from 171g to 185g. With full RPB, my forearm felt sore for the first time in a long time. If I can't get used to the weight I may need to consider an alternative for my BH.

Overall I am very happy with my new rubbers to the point that I ordered another LAC and Moon blue on Aliexpress before the sales ends :)

Which blade? Because i had the same issues going from vsea, back to Pro 01.

Well be happy that you didnt reach the 206g i had with thw vsea :ROFLMAO:
I mean that wasnt a huge problem for my fh but become one for my bh :/

I really need to start weighing the sheets because i have the feeling they vary quite hard. The mentioned friend always picks certain weights for his rubbers for that particular reason. Maybe i should follow his example.

Because of that issue I started to weigh every sheet, with Package, without Package, after taking it off the blade with glue, without glue, after boosting, with inbetween boosting, with a plastic sheet on, without one. It makes Things easier to predict and adjust.
My H3 Turbo for example "only" weighs, 86g uncut with sheet, 57g cut to blade, 63g with glue. Next time I out different glue and less glue. That way I could put it on light blade with light bh rubber and I got to 186g.

With H8 80 there is Variations.

Pro 05 with LACs came out to 196g. Blade itself unfortunately 90g.

For uncut sheets with All edges you can multiple by 0.67 and get a good idea of the weight, as far as I learned so far.
(for most blade shapes)
-1g for the plastic sheet.

Weighing the packaging can help you assess weight even before opening it.
8 80 Package is 27g I think.

I might get some first impressions this evening with the Rxton 9 if it flattens out until then.

Sword Star Diamond Forest, cpen, bare weight is 87g. I tried holding the bat deeper and it felt better.

Rubber weight could fluctuate a lot, I had a 39d Big Dipper that was 61g. plays fine though.

wouldnt you need to keep track of unnopened package of the same rubbers to substract the difference? Then you find packaging print also vary and we all share ours entering a new EJ rabitt hole🤣
