I also don't understand why Rxton 3 Pink is listed as 40d on the Loki chart. My sheet is listed 39d, which makes more sense for a BH rubber. I'm pretty sure Rxton 3 pink/blue is meant to be marketed as a bh rubber, that's why its not available in black.
some of us had negative experiences trying to use soft BH rubbers. My H3 Neo 37 ended up boosted but on my FH. My pinky is ok on both FH or BH. After all, there is no rule that says a black rubber must be on the FH 😁 So one can get the 37 in both red or black.

Did the Rxton 3 Pink react strongly to booster?

My favorite rubbers, like Rhyzen ZGR, Aurora Max, have a sudden and dramatic reaction to booster
i just did a layer to expand it a bit & make the sponge a tiny bit softer (cant notice a "dramatic" difference than unboosted) to test the reaction and to glue with margin on another blade. It reacted as expected, if i do another layer it will probably dome.
Here is a video of someone assembling a racket with Rxton 3 blue clearly boosted.

Don't know what you did, I boosted my pinky with 2 layers of seamoon and now 3 months of use and all is good.
I gave it 2 hefty layers of baby oil. Apparently it had no problem with seamoon but baby oil is too much...

I think I still got some of the off cuts from my pinky I will put some johnson baby oil on them today and check it. I can't believe that something that feels so nice on the skin can ruin a TT-rubber 🤣

Good test idea. Let us know how it goes. Do you have any LAC to test on as well?

I do but I can not copy the test using bay oil because I have already done the test using 2 layers of seamoon. There is nothing wrong with the rubber, I must have gotten one of the "good ones" 😁

When I boost, I like to go all in, I boost heavily to the point where the rubber curls and the edges touch with each other. So that's probably why it got ruined. With a normal amount of oil it shouldn't have any issue. But if I boost, I want to get the most out of it.

And what a waste of lovely babyoil !!!!!!
What you try to achieve could be done by slowly 4 - 5 times applying the oils sparingly/.
Looks to me your system could be even more radical by simply throwing the rubbers in the bin without even unpacking them. 😂

so TB did you test the new rubbers? im waiting for a package with the new cheap kirin blades an rubbers including R3pro R5pro & T3speed but it will be a while before they arrive
Not yet, but hopefully next week. I don't have any empty blades right now.

All my blades have other test rubbers on them, including boosted Rxton 1, so I need to retire some other rubber setups to clear up space.

Let us know your impressions, great that you can compare them(& other rubbers) with boosted Rxton 1, i didnt test them boosted but i put R1 & R1 special for 2 begginers at the club & so far they are great, Special is a bit tackyer but not too much, new they were quite firm but know they feel softer, pretty easy to use. Normal R3 feels a bit softer than R1 Special so i put it on his BH. i wonder if boosting its worth it.

Yeah, I was really curious about normal R3 and how well it boosts. You should definitely boost it and let us know how it performs. I know the GTX reacted really well to booster. The R3 has the same Negh1 cake sponge, so I don't see why it shouldn't respond well. So I'm really curious to hear your results.

The R1 sponge had a mild, but reasonable response to booster. If you saw my other post in the thread about looping all serves, I actually played those matches with R1 on backhand. With booster, it had a medium rebound speed. It's pretty good for blocking and punching attack. Looping is so so, gets the job done, but not amazing. It doesn't seem to grip the ball and generate spin as well as tensor rubbers. But for players up to around 2000 level, this could definitely be a reasonable backhand rubber.

I dont have R3 in stock now maybe i will try when new rubbers arrive, but i think it would render the rubber too mushy even for BH IMO.
Your Experience with R1 is cool since its a cheap rubber that performance its really good. R1 special has more tack and its quite firm out of the package so i think it would be a good candidate for boosting as well but its a bit more expensive than normal R1 so i dont know if the difference would be worth

Why do you think R3 would be too mushy? Both R3 and R1 have 39d sponges, so even with booster, it's not soft at all

Well in my experience R3 fells soft enough already, i didnt measure the sponge but its quite softer than R1 or R3 pink even if they are supposed to be the same °39 so i dont think boosting would make the rubber feel better. its just a guess Cant be sure unless i try

If you so serious about boosting, why you using baby oil then?
How long did you let it dry before adding your second layer and hefty - how much oil did you put?
enough to soak the whole sponge and let unglue the topsheet from the sponge?

I always thought blue and pink are the same, but my pink one is 39 degrees as well, while my blue ones are 40.
