Oh... My bad then.

Can I measure how much I should put on? How much do you use for a normal Chinese rubber?
There are some videos around that can show you the quantity.
it is basically a "non dripping" wet brush, that goes around the sponge.
i personally don't like to use too much, so I will use the inner sides of the bottle to catch/wipe the oil before the brush comes out for usage. If too little, then I would dip again and add. But once it is too much, you can't undo it

no, you don't measure it just apply enough to cover the whole sponge without making any puddles. Don't try to soak the sponge just think, while you apply the oil, that you try to only wet the surface not the whole sponge. Then wait 8 hours and do it again

Has anybody else tested their Rxton 3 Pink/blue hardness either with a durometer or by comparing with other rubbers?
I have compared it against a normal r5 but this is difficult because I find that the r5 top rubber is hard but the pinky top rubber is very soft.

Ok, I just unpacked the Rxton 3 pink and the Rxton 5 Pro. I am very disappointed with the R5 Pro. The 3 pink is listed as 39d, and it feels firm. When I test it with the durometer, it seems like a legit 53d ESN.

The R5 Pro feels much softer when I push on it. When I test the durometer on it, it comes out to be 47-48d ESN. It's listed as 41d. What a total failure. How in the world is this "provincial" quality.
Did they take a regular p5 and just boost it, after which it became a pro?

Got my Rxton 3 Pro's in the mail today and glued them on immediately.

Uncut sheet weighed in at 67 grams. Cut to my Yinhe T11s it weighed 45 grams, and 46 grams cut to my Butterfly Balsa Carbo X7. Gonna test em out tonight!
How is the hardness?

About to start playing, but glued to my rackets it feels much softer than 40 degrees.

I've got a Battle Pro Max 38 degrees as BH on one bat, that feels a hair harder than the Rxton 3 Pro, might just be the denser/different sponge type.

On the other bat I got a Bloom Power 45 as BH which feels noticably harder than the Rxton 3 Pro.

Will report back when I have played tonight.

That's lame, and frustrating and inconsistent. My Rxton 3 Pro feels quite hard, similar to the Battle Max 40d

Just played with them and my Rxton 3 Pro's feel about as hard as the Battle Pro Max 38, the Bloom Power is indeed noticably harder.

However, on my Balsa Carbo blade the Rxton 3 Pro feel nice as FH rubber. It benefits a lot from a blade with a bit more flex it seems as on my T11s it feels very similar but I feel I can hit better and faster balls on the Balsa Carbo, despite the T11s being a lot faster.

The Rxton 3 Pro also seems viable in as a backhand option on a stiff blade, however I can imagine many more viable options for the backhand.

How is the unboosted rebound of the R3 Pro?
How is the grip?

So far I can tell its grippier then the R3 Pink and Blue (not much tho) and Big Dipper Red. Pretty much equal with Bloom Power and Battle Pro Max in red. Jupiter 3 in red was the grippiest of them all

As opposed to the R3 Pink and Blue it was certainly bouncier, in a good way for me, felt more lively, but still controlled.

All in all I am going to keep playing with the setup on my Balsa Carbo blade and once I gave em a proper few hours gonna write a more in depth review on my other thread on Chinese rubbers, together with my BH rubbers.

are both r3pro and r5pro much stickier as the non-pro version ???????????
My R3 Pro versus my R3 Pink and Blue it was little bit more sticky, but very similar.

I think when all 3 are brand new the rubbers are all equally as sticky, lets hope the black R3 Pro keeps sticky for longer.

Do you plan on boosting the R3 Pro? How bouncy is it unboosted? is it as bouncy as D09c?
