Not my experience at all...(Most reviews share similar feelings) as always every player has its own opinions. Can you record a bounce video of Telson 100? I will try to record some tests. Topsheet its grippy (based on my experience) and i can make spinny serves without problem (with T3 it was really weird to brush the ball because surface didnt grip well.
I thought I would like the Telson 100 topsheet from the photos, but actually I didn't like it. It seems like it breaks easily, and it doesn't have much grip, and also I don't like the kinda pale red color. I much prefer the Moon Speed topsheet: firmer, grippier, and rich red color.

To each their own i guess🫡🤷‍♂️
Can you record a simple spin test to show the grip? Maybe some loops too😉
What about tenergy topsheet? Do you like it? (That for sure i know it breaks "with ease" at least on borders)

I like the Tenergy topsheet when its new, but I find it gets old rather quickly.

D05 topsheet is really good, and the Moon Speed topsheet is also remarkably good for the price. Big Dipper has a similar topsheet, also very nice.

So you tested the black Rxton 7 with blue sponge, right? I guess it's normal you don't have the same opinion than me.
I found it quite hard to take anything usefull out of this discussion about r7 because you dont mention the characteristics for fh/bh. You just mention those in general which is almost impossible to be the same for both (even with d09c i would describe it different depending if i play it on fh or bh).

I asume you used it on bh because of your version and TB used something on whatever.
You guys are definitly not discussing on the same page, which makes it really hard for anyone to decide if one of the rubbers might be for them.

I for myself will probably test the r7 at the end of the season either way. It could be an option aside of my h3 on bh for my inner or a substitute for my rakza z on my outer alc. We will see

I stated that I was using it with the 37º for my BH.

Anyway, you can't never trust anyone's opinion because the difference of skills, technique, feeling, preferences,... and the pure subjectivity of the opinion makes it hard to really judge. For exemple, Tensorbackhand states that Aurora Max Boosted is the best BH rubber he tested. I tested that and it's been random for me. He praise for Moon 12. I tested it and it's so slow it's unplayable.

I tested a lot things, and played ma'y things on the same blade. For example, the last 3 weeks, I played with Volant Phoenix 2, Arthur China and Rxton 7 on my Yinhe Pro. I tried Moon 12, Arthur Asia and Gewo Super Select on my Fang Bo B2. I tried Aurora Max and H3 Neo OS 37 on my Stuor Long V.

Every time, my opinion is determined by my technique, my skills and my flaws. And for me, Rxton 7 is the closest of what I want and need on my backhand, for now. I still have to test Goldarc 8 and Gewo Codexx, and maybe the H3 Neo on the Yinhe 05.

And I try to speak only about general things, be cause I believe it's the ones that are the most likely to be felt by other players. Saying that on top spins lightly brushed, on fast strokes, or flat blocks,...blablabla, it's none sense because my slightly brushed topnspins are maybe killer tops for someone or simple pushes to others.

The variation you see in the reported speed of the T100 is possibly due to bad or inconsistent mounting and/or stretching the rubber while mounting it.

No way known a T100 is slower than a Moon12. ...unless somebody out there is manufacturing cheap knock-offs of it.

Given the way the T100 is constantly selling out at Loki since it was launched (I had to wait two months for my last shipment of black T100s) it wouldn't surprise me if someone out there is knocking it off -- clearly demand for the rubber is pretty high.

Additionally, the T100 is *not* a pale red colour, does *not* have a fragile top sheet prone to tearing, and does *not* have poor spin

On the contrary, it has a consistent deep red colour, uses high quality elastomers, has perfectly acceptable longevity, and it spins like a mofo.... Yet more proof to my mind some cut-rate rip-offs of the T100 may be floating around.

I was thinking on the same line...My agent told me T100 solds out as soon as they make it, so far my experience is limited to 3 units, but all of them looked and felt the same, nice red color topsheet, great spin.

Maybe ......maybe not. 😁

Argument 1 ) If rippoffs were made the market would be flooded and any amount freely available.
Argument 2) Unfortunately Loki's substandard Quality control and erratic manufacturing is already legendary.

I dont think its fake.

This is the listing.

In the video you can see the color. Maybe pale red isnt the right word. But it has a more matte red look like T3 and Ak47. I prefer the rich color of new Moon speed.

And you see the bounce test in the video, its just not bouncing that well.

Ive tried 2 sheets of Moon 12 and felt they bounced more. Aurora max is hard to judge. Indeed my sheet has more catapult than any rubber ive seen, but it may be hard to reproduce my result. It just happened to react incredibly to booster like a miracle.

Just glued my sheet of Rxton 7 39 to my main blade, gonna try it out next Tuesday.

Initial difference with the sheet of Battle 3 39 that came off my main blade, that the sponge is wildly different. Top sheet seems about as soft, but the blue sponge of the Rxton 7 seems softer, more flexible.

I hope this gives the rubber a bit more base speed and dynamic in comparison with the Battle 3, let's see!
So just had my first session and I really like the rubber!

My initial thoughts and hopes got confirmed, Rxton 7 feel a tad softer and bit more dynamic than my previous Battle 3. Easier to engage, so blocks and flicks are more comfortable, however it does miss some top end speed opposed to the Battle 3. Then again, I felt more secure when going for it, so even for those shots I like the Rxton 7 better.

I think in a nutshell the Battle 3 leans a bit more towards traditional Chinese rubbers, whereas the Rxton 7 more like a Chinese Hybrid.

Only thing the Battle 3 is better in is the durability. The Rxton 7 seems like a one-season rubber for me, after just 1 session the typical Loki rough edges started to show, especially on the edge that hits the table on a FH push that hits the table. Battle 3 is a tank comapred to Rxton 7.

can you share some photos? i like to see the look and the edges you mentioned in just one session. So far Rxton 9 durability is quite good, also AED and TELSON 100 seem to have good durability. My Arthur china sample retains tack and grip and so far no bubbles (not a lot of actual use since i lend it to a clubmate)

Here are some photos comparing red rubbers scraps i had around. In person the difference is quite clearer but maybe you can describe your experience.
LEFT Kirin K3 (matte and paler, with a "fine" texture, grip similar to T3) Right Tenergy 64.

Other scraps, clockwise from top left: Kirin K3, Telson 100, T64, H3neo, Rxton 1, Bluefire M2

It's quite hard to make a photo of it due to reflection, but I tried the best I can manage right now.

It's early signs of something I have experienced with multiple Loki Rxton rubbers, where the edges are coming loose/"bubbling up".

Can relate to that, but only with LAC. Rxton 9 doesnt have that issue at all in my experience.

LAC and Rxton 7 seem closely related, reading the comments here.
Haven't tried Rxton 9, but the edge "issues" seem similar to what I experienced on Rxton 3 Pink/Blue and Rxton 3/5 Pro.
I've experienced it with LAC and Rxton 3 Blue too. Doesn't affect play at all but it is a bit annoying.
