in G1 , i could see SYS missing some heavy underspin balls from Mima like she did against India. she probably had some bad memories from yesterday. But after G1 she was too confident and it was soon over

Best showing from Hirano against CXT since 2019. Best chance to win against an under-prepared CXT who hid her serves only in the endgame.

Harimoto and Hirano have earned the silver medal at a minimum. Ito still has to work harder, if possible.

The problem with the current lineup is Ito - this is a prime chance without Wang Manyu and Chen Meng to bother the CNT again, but it is obvious that Ito is going to cost them this match even if Hirano wins unless Harimoto can close out SYS which is asking a lot.

Maybe with the non stop tournaments and now getting rattled by N. Korea, Miwa can make a breakthrough over SYS. That's my hope anyway.
