Even the Chinese coach showed a lot of appreciation for the kid's efforts.
Never seen an opposition coach like that.

This kid beat No 1 WR Wang Chuqin and almost beat No 3 WR Lin Shidong. Faraji has a lot of potential and he is only 14 years old. If he keeps this up he could possibly reach the podium at the Olympics.

Gap is getting smaller... @zeio please give me now 2 exact dates when:
- will euro/japs reach super-chinese level
Many in China predict that date to come some time after Paris 2024 and during the LA 2028 cycle. China will have its Taikonaut on the moon by Brisbane 2032 and by that time Miwa's brother will ONLY be 29 and Miwa 24...

What general trends will there be in table tennis in the coming year?
There is a good chance table tennis will be more contested by various countries and regions like in badminton.

Lim Jonghoon about to get knocked out by this chopper kid from the Philippines.
This chopper is a left-handee, rarest of rare species. One of a kind!!!

Can't say for sure about Butterfly, but at least as of China Smash a week ago he was still using black rubber on the FH side.
I do remember him playing the Viscaria Super ALC since at least last year. Didn't pay attention to the rubbers.
