I think it's a combination of Odo surpassing everybody's expectations including hers and Miwa looking exhausted. These things happen. Nagasaki beat Hayata at Contender Rio, for example. Shouldn't happen, but happens more often with compatriots as familiarity with style also factors in. But the takeaway, for me at least, is we have a lot to be excited about from the growth of both Miwa and Satsuki. Who's #1 or #2 is more of fun side discussion. It's both subjective and dynamic. Today's #1 could be #2 and vice versa. So is Odo now at a level where Harimoto who beat Sun Yingsha and Wang Yidi and surpassed Hayata should be losing to her? Youth is an interesting thing, that is the best I can say in Harimoto's defense, More so because playing your teammate takes away your coach and when you are younger, that is a big deal.
