I really hope the W81 is similar to Long 5. It looks stiffer and shorter than Long 5...so I'm kinda praying that I don't hate it

My first shipment arrived. It is Dawei 388D-2 OX Blue. I bought it for the color and to experiment with ox medium pips which I have never tried before.

As usual, I ended up buying more stuff that I intended. Oh well.

The natural rubber like dignics 05 or rakza 7. Great spin, great control and great quality for the price. One rubber worth 10 of weird stuff.

i wonder how the 301 compares to 75 inner. I think 301 is thinner and slower...but maybe that's a good thing too

I received the w81 inner and the Loki T3 w81. I have no info on this last one. I will measure the hardness this afternoon.

The blade is 89,1gr and 1383Hz.

I got my Yinhe Pro 05 and I am highly impressed how they managed to ship me both that and the 01 within 1g of spec weight. (89 and 90g)
Size wise both blades are the same, I love this handle shape so that was a complete no brainer

Glued her up with Dianchi D and AK47 Red to get some first impressions with familiar rubber:
- bouncing the ball gives a much more woody feeling on Pro 05 than on Pro 01. Touch game should be easier to dose since it's simply slower.
- spin bounce test felt like the blade still is slower -> ball stays on it longer. AK47 Red on Pro 01 felt close to how AK47 Yellow feels on the Pro 01, so more dwell time rather than the ball popping out before I can do something with it. (I put Yellow on Pro 01 because Red was too bouncy to handle)

Just in general it feels like a much more familiar blade. It doesn't seem to have that weird dead feeling I had in my (dud) Sanwei 75 Inner, although I can still imagine it will take some getting used to the feeling in detail.
This experience makes me feel hopeful about being able to use it with H3N 37d on BH, with a little boost it should be in the same area of hardness as AK47 Red.

I hope I can make some time tonight to get to a table and really give this a go

What is the frequency of the 89gr pro 05?

I didn't measure simply because I couldn't compare it to a naked Pro 01 anyway. It's noticably higher than a Korbel though

Frequency is 1440. Seems about right. Feels very fast. The handle feels great. And the head is long, just how I like it.

Interesting blade. I glued triple double and dynaryz zgr onto it. The rebound is very high, but has a soft feeling.

Seems like the surface is quite soft, but the overall blade is quite firm as the rebound is high
