I gotta say, Faraji's choing is not making a fan out of me. It's one thing to cho like Harimoto, it's quite another to cho so much after an edge/net ball. Last match vs the Taiwanese kid I thought was rather disrespectful, choing so much after winning the match off of 2 straight net/edge points at 9-9. I get that you're excited, but apologize, shake hands, then go crazy with your coach.

Etiquette is a funny thing. Nets are part of the game, these are opponents he has consistently struggled against. This was part of the reason why the 10-0 ritual of losing a point had to go, it took you out of your focus. The kid will be fine.

Anyone know what Mia Griesel uses? She hits the ball pretty thick sometimes I wonder whether it us pips on either or both sides and if not at all, she has extremely talented ball contact and an extremely bright future.

Wen Ruibo is still probably up there in terms of skill level potential to be another chinese A lister. But now that Baby Wang just redeemed himself in this championships, and the fact he lost his second straight final, the latter in straight sets, he may have to look over his back now

Biggest talent I saw was Li Hechen. 15 year old lefty with great feel, power on both wings, moves well. Probably still too skinny to do much on the senior tour this year, but soon. Here's the U15 finals:

She switched to shortpips on FH a few years ago. That's where public information ends for the time being. And she beat Goda at WYC 2023.
