The winner of Asian Table Tennis Championships apparantly play with long pips on her backhand. The question is simply:

Would she play better with inverted rubber?
are you saying, to go back in time and start her off with inverted? or just changing tomorrow and expect her to be better?

then the same token, the other thousands of long pips users started the same time as her.... I don't see them any where today.

I think she is just better than the thousands others, just like FZD is better than the thousands other inverted

So let me speculate. Maybe she always was shorter and weaker than her opponents, and only blocked with her backhand, that is why her coach TOLD her to use long pips.
If she had grown up using inverted instead, she would be a stronger player today, able to do more with her backhand. However, there is no way of knowing if she would have been more successful, since she would be a more predictable opponent. Next time the chinese including Miwa plays her might be a different story.
