Without a serve clock, this is all not objective. The rules say to play at the pace of the server. 15 seconds is not stalling.
Stalling isn't about absolute time measures. Stalling is disrupting your opponents rhythm by breaking stride while the receiver's ready. That's what SYS does, and more do.

I don't think you can or should conflate "having a measure" with "objective".

You can't prove something is objective without having a measure everyone can agree on. So having a measure is a prereq to objectivity. You have made your point i have made mine. MLTT and Tennis have clocks for a reason. ItTF can continue to leave this to people would may have axes to grind from decades ago or come into the modern age and use clocks.

Do you mean at only junior level? I know what you mean but this isn't quite true At senior level Other countries have moved to systems where national team coaches interact with and train the players altogether at least periodically for majot events. In fact, Nathaniel Molin became head coach of French men simply because he coaches the Lebruns. Jorgen Persson designed systems of coaches for lots of major tournaments with Sweden until his retirement after the Olympics. Rosakopf has tremendous control in Germany. So because of China, lots of countries have become more centralized as well if they were not already.
you need to see how they travel out.
WTT is all personal, but some times, the national team coach is the one that get free tickets.
so certain players individual coach won't travel with, due to self funding as the only way through.

Some countries are strict where if they use national team money to travel, they must wear national team outfit, and use the national coach.
if they self fund, they would wear they own clothes.

so when the national team coach is there, he or she, cannot sit when 2 of the national players are playing, due to staying neutral.

This isn't a system per say, but rather, how the coaches travel out and remaining neutral
some times, the individual coaches who do travel out will talk and decide to sit or not to sit in.

so this isn't an ITTF or WTT policy, but rather each teams policy and how they need to adhere to.
Japan/Korea all travel as a team, but they are all individual coaches per say and will have no coaches present (even when coaches travel with). So it is really all internal discussions

This match has been very tense so far. We might go all the way to a deciding game

Quite possibly.

LSD tries to get into BH rally, LJK tries to vary the shots and get into FH rally.

They’re equally consistent and fast.

It really depends on minor adjustments and mentality.

It's not about having *a* measure, it's about having *the right* measure. But let's leave it there.

You started this ridiculous idea that I was confusing objectivity with having a measure and now you are not explaining how you get objectivity without a measure saying that it has to be the right measure. Do better.

Is it me or are the fans against Lin Shidong and Kuai Man for some reason?
They are against LSD right now because if he wins he will take down their glorious king WCQ from world NO 1 spot

LSD becomes the youngest-ever WR1 player. KLH before that.

Would've displaced WCQ a month later otherwise.

LJK ran out of steam. Seriously a bit disappointing 3-11 and 2-11 in the last two sets.

LJK made a lot more mistakes in FH which took many points in the first two sets.

After Ma Long and WCQ, the TT world belongs to BH, as sad as it sounds. Why bother working hard on beautiful FH rallies?

There’s nothing wrong with Lin Shidong’s forehand tho. He normally wins the majority of the rallies (not this time). His backhand is just so good it makes his forehand look weak
