Blade Lacquering Service

Hi,
I will order blade from tt11 store. As I see they are offering Blade Lacquering Service.
What is main purpose for this service? Does it also effect on hardness,grip,speed,. ?

The MAIN purpose of sealing a blade is to stop the blade surface from splintering/tearing when removing a glued sheet of rubber from it. Done properly it should not have any noticeable effects.

TT11 does an excellent job when it comes to sealing blades. The layer is very thin and barely visible, but it protects your blade from splintering when changing your rubbers. I would also recommend it

Yeap!! Excellent job from TT11. I would like them to seal all of the blade and not only the area for the rubbers.

I think they are happy to do it if you ask them. You probably have to pay a bit more for the additional service.
