Overall great match but i damn i would be scared to face that.

Anyone able to identify to equipment of the penholy player? So i know what i gonna use in around 20 to 30 years🤣

Maybe I was Nostradamus, I said Hawkeye for serves would be introduced into table tennis after Ma Long retired lol.

Yeah, but this tournament is not going to impact his legacy in any meaningful way in the GOAT conversation and he can adapt for this tournament without the result impacting his legacy. Not sure he is playing singles either, but this is the biggest tournament in China, probably a bigger deal than the Olympics in some ways. Even Yu Ziyang, who has also retired, is playing here.

if you are still "on the provincial team", you are required to play.
basically there is money involved, easy money to be honest.

I thought it was cool with the tech they are using for the qualifiers. Not just with the edge balls but also serving as well and they show how many degree angle the toss is.

I wish they implemented these and also the review system in WTT events as well and not just at ITTF events only. Any idea when these will be available for the WTT events. I understand that is probably possible to do it in the Infinity Arena such as Smash & Champions and maybe Star Contender but not on the other tables and lower WTT events such as Contender and Feeder.
