If LSD is at his best like last year I think he will absolutely blitz Hugo. LSD has more speed and compactness over the table and is probably even more stable far from the table.

I think LSD has definitely fallen off slightly from his insane purple patch last year which seems to happen to lots of young players (Felix, Tomokazu) so if Hugo plays well it could be a good game.

LJk held off Darko pretty well so we'll see if he can beat LSD again.

In Incheon Hugo beat An Jaehyun so convincingly, but the next day he lost to Xiang Peng - OK, he was red hot and eventually won the tournament, but so was Hugo - I expected different, much more tight, match... I hope this time he'll sleep well...

Not sure about powerful, but quicker for sure. LSD tends to have more trouble with those who are very quick, like Felix or Harimoto, so Hugo wouldn't match up as well.

WCQ IMO needs some mental adjustments. He tries to end points too quickly as he lacks what others on the CNT does, which is the confidence to outlast the opponent in long matches/rallies via superior training and consistency. In critical moments most CNT players add spin and consistency to counter the tightness experienced in those moments, but he tries to add power in an attempt to finish the point as soon as possible. That combined with tightness leads to a lot of errors. When he gets into a rally he gets impatient, oftentimes trying to add power with each succeeding shot instead of focusing on just keeping the rally going first and foremost. He needs to learn patience and the will to outlast an opponent.

Xu Xin remains the only lefty player who has won a World Title in CNT's history, World Cup 2013 where Yan An was the other teammate (spot from ZJK) who lost to Ovtcharov in group stage and 0-4 XX in KO stage.

WCQ CAME OUT AN UNWISE UNDERDOG.

TTR has a great preventive effect. A player whose serve was challenged and verified as a fault would then keep hands away from doing the such. Again, TTR gives umpire a clear signal to keep close eye on the players dirty servings.

Yes, WCQ and his coach suffered badly from lack of good sence. They missed to ask for ttr review upon Calderano dirty toss, that vision of the descending ball was patently blocked with a head all the time. A good lesson on wcq, my sincere сondolences.

Ito led in games 4, 6, and 7. Pretty much for the whole match. Just didn't play with enough conviction and blew a career defining match. She likely won't get a chance like this again which is a real pity.

It's been cheaper for quite a while now. I got mine a few months ago and the difference was bigger. It seems like they dropped the price for all of them, but less for the Q968 so the price difference is closer now.

Spot on for WCQ. Also he relied too much on his hidden serve + 3rd ball for his entire career so he wasn't as well trained or experienced in the rally stage as compared to someone like FZD.

We are also not sure who will be the other player, LJK or LSD. Like what you mentioned, Hugo would much rather play LJK than LSD. LSD suffers against fast players but LJK suffers against big power players.
