Those BH and FH loopkills were just insane. I think these have to be the highest quality loopkills since speed glue got banned. Seriously some of them look as powerful as Ryu Seung Min's FH in Athens 2004. And the bonus was that he wasn't missing much when loopkilling at these kinds of quality.

This was an even better performance than the semis against WCQ.

I know it's only one match, and I really shouldn't be looking so far ahead. But it's tantalizing to think about is it possible that a 32 year old in 2028 Hugo Calderano become Olympic TT champion? He's obviously worked so hard to overcome his weaknesses, and his emotions poured out in the interview being down from the Paris Olympics to now being the World Cup Champion.

I am not surprised at all. Since 2023 LSD has not yet improved his game against player with fast and powerful shots. Two matches lost against Felix with not even close gap show that he was vulnerable to first powerful shots. When he lost 1-4 to WCQ, I felt that he will be strong exploited. And there you go, Hugo did it very well to dominate him!

Sadly Hugo does go up and down drastically. Consistency is his problem.
