It's been a long time since I used Korbel Speed and back then, I used it for just 2 sessions. At that time, Korbel Speed was not released yet, and somehow the TT store that offered me, got a prototype sample (without the usual BTY serial number printed on the blade's face).
At that time, I have been using BTY Korbel (Japanese version) for quite a long time. I have also used Avalox P500 (and BTY Kong Ling Hui) before that. So I think BTY Korbel Speed is the combination of those two, but somehow I did not like the feeling at all.
BTY Korbel is limba - limba - ayous - limba - limba
Avalox P500 (and BTY Kong Ling Hui) is koto - spruce - ayous - spruce - koto
I also like Donic Dicon, which is limba - spruce - ayous - spruce - limba
The problem with spruce as the middle ply (after core, and below top ply) is that it is quite bouncy. Korbel has deep hold, which I like better.
So, when Korbel Speed was introduced, I am quite curious, how BTY Korbel Speed with koto (as the outerply) behaves. But somehow, I just did not like it. BTY Korbel has more feeling.
If I have to rate the better blade, then my choice is BTY Korbel > BTY Korbel SK7 > BTY Korbel Speed.
Now, back to your question: I can't really answer you, but from my experience with Avalox P500, it is a very good blade. It has the same composition with BTY Hadraw 5, but thinner (P500 is around 5.7 mm in thickness). As per my experience with BTY Korbel Speed, I think I like Avalox P500 more (meaning I would like Hadraw 5 more,).
Sorry for not able to answer you specifically.
