LSD is one strange person then. They are WCQ's fangirls, so it's obvious they don't like you.
This is a lesson to him. Previous members of Chinese team avoided talking about fans as much as possible. I have never heard about Ma Long or Xu Xin complaning about Zhang Jike's fan girls back in 2012-2013, or Liang Jingkun has never ever complained about Lin Gaoyuan's fan girls 6-7 years ago.

its time for LJK to shine; he has been in the shadows for too long. May fate smile upon him.
table tennis is in need for a change! For far too long China has dominated every big event, everything is njcer with a little unpredictability, it would be nice and good for the sport if someone who could rival them appeared. I'm rooting for Hugo today!

I'm rooting for Hugo just because I'd love to see more men pros to play from the back and have awesome rallies all day long.

Would be nice if ITTF pay attention to choppers too. They could make a new rule where choppers get a point if the attackers can't end the point in one minute. That way defender can move up the ladder too.

I don't mind China winning, but what is disgusting is the tieba users who look low on others because the winners are Chinese. Chinese champion does not equal same nationality tieba users can abuse others.

just look at the way on how zeio talks about Ito: "a bronze by luck more than strength".

these Chinese winners has made many amateur hobbyist become extremely arrogant and look low on other countries elite players.

While, the Chinese players themselves, including the coaches, are all good friends with many other countries players - including Ito.

However, for the health of world sport - change of countries winning is always a good thing.
This is also good for CNT too.

Do you think anyone here cares for any all-chinese final in any draw ?

Of course not.

People here care for a Gauzy challenging and winning with his own style no one can copy.

People here care for Truls for the same reasons.

People here care for Japan and South Korea cos' they show sportmanship and emotions, and because they truly challenge the chinese robots that have killed ALL creativity in this game.

People care for Europe cos' it's where the fans shout the most, make more noise but respect ALL athletes, not like DHS pussies.

At least in basket-ball USA is being challenged and does not win everything, they trash talk but they show emotions and they respect their opponents. But any basketball player will tell ya the holy grail in to be hired by a franchise in the NBA.

And more of it all, it's because China is not a free democracy, even in its sport's system, just ask yourself why Fan Zhendong decided to retire, the only chinese athlete I've ever respected cos' he's always been respectfull, cos' he's shown his emotions and interest in the other universal things like music and football.

This is why NOBODY cares for China in table tennis today ANYMORE.

First of all people want to enjoy from game. Doesn't matter Chinese win or non Chinese.

Mark my words, if Wang Chuqin wins this and Singles tomorrow, then he'll have broken the curse of many left-handed players in China who tend to excel only in Doubles but fail in Singles, including players like Xu Xin and Chen Qi.

He'll also be the first left-handed World Champion since 1993 when Jean Philipe Gatien won against Saive.

Good match. Yoshimura has moments of brilliance mixed in with too many errors.
I think after a couple days of feeling disappointed he'll feel really happy about getting a silver here.

It was one of the more heartwarming stories for JNT for this event. Yoshimura is usually a pretty emotionless player, and that's probably due to having no notable results to speak of on the world stage for years now.

When he was guaranteed a bronze I don't think I've ever seen a Japanese male player so beaming with happiness. He was so happy it brought out a lot of smiles from Odo too, who doesn't ever really look happy about anything. I think helping her sempai get a medal at this late stage in his career was something she was proud of.

That's where the bile stems from, A-OK. Very understandable. Taiwan deserves it's autonomy and right to self determination.
Just when I thought the self-righteous mantra you guys espouse has always been "hate the CCP, love the people." So it's always been hate the people too all along eh?
Well, I can understand the hate when multiple Rafales just got shot down thanks to the incompetent Indians from within their own border by Pakistans...

The times I encounter this sort of behavior I just chalk it up to that person having a pitiful life with no personal success. Having pride in the success of an athlete just because they share the same nationality or ethnicity as you is already a little bit silly. But letting that turn into toxicity and a sense of superiority is flat out pathetic.

It is probably accurate to assume that internet commenters who exhibit this behavior are people you would feel sorry for if you knew them personally. That helps a bit in not being too aggravated by these sorts of people.

The problem when playing Sun Yingsha and Wang Chuqin is that you always know that they have to play badly for you to win (this is even true when they played Lin Shidong and Kuai Man). When they play their game, the challenge is always for the female player on the other team to handle Wang'a shots and for the male player on the other team to realize Sun is doing something he has to respect. Very few teams even get close, it's basically the top 3 teams in the world and one already retired.
